The building is new, designed to take full advantage of the magnificent views which span the volcano behind the lake all the way to the lights of Quito, in the far distance. The bed has lots of pillows & the most comfortable bed linen I’ve experienced. You sleep & wake to a full wall picture window of the panorama. The spacious bedroom also has a comfortable couch & wardrobe. The washroom is also large & there’s plenty of hot water. The common area has a wall of windows looking out on the panoramic view as well as a fireplace (which was wonderful coming in after a November hike) & a selection of great interpretative books. Our hosts speak good English & were incredibly helpful. Breakfast was huge with all local products - coffee, tea, bread, cheese, juice, fruits, homemade marmalade, eggs. Wifi was also good. It doesn’t get any better!
