All the staff members and owners were super nice and showed us attention. The villa was well equipped, comfortable and very clean.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Fantastic place with a beautiful garden, plenty of wildlife! The hosts are super welcoming, taking their time to show you around and help spot the animals (sloths, toucans, lizards etc). The pool is also very nice as well as the beach just across the street - it has shade, more sloths and feels safe for kids. We would have happily spent more time there!

It was a pleasure meeting Mia and Gianluca and staying at their lovely place. Easy to find, just a minute walk from the beach, spacious and well maintained. Mia welcomed us with warmth and huge smile and showed us around. In the morning we enjoyed amazing home-made breakfast which we highly recommend! Thank you!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. We had an amazing time here with my boyfriend. The host was superfriendly, our room was quiet and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious as well. I hope we can come back some time!

The lodge was so beautiful - the indoor outdoor living, the care taken to the garden, the space in general. Away from the chaos of puerto viejo but and easy drive into town if needed. Great recommendations from the hosts who were the loveliest couple that provided us with information about the area, fresh fruit, and a sense of immediate comfort. Waking up and seeing animals everyday was an added bonus!
