Situated 8.4 km from Jaguar Rescue Center, Sonora Jungle & Yoga Retreat offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was tranquil and felt truly authentic, right in the heart of the jungle. We could hear all kinds of wildlife around us, which made the experience even more special. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. A perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature.

First of all I don't understand why some guests „criticize” the road here. You are in a jungle and consideration and respect should be given to animals, nature and people. We loved everything… The area, the bungalow and the really good breakfast (I highly recommend the french pancakes). Waking up to the different animal sounds was impressive. The staff was super friendly and every time very helpful. The rooms were also absolutely clean and comfortable with a fantastic view to the jungle. This place is a paradise - Please keep it like that! :) Thank so much for this beautiful experience. We’ll definitely come back (hopefully next year). PURA VIDA 🦥☀️

The lodge was so beautiful - the indoor outdoor living, the care taken to the garden, the space in general. Away from the chaos of puerto viejo but and easy drive into town if needed. Great recommendations from the hosts who were the loveliest couple that provided us with information about the area, fresh fruit, and a sense of immediate comfort. Waking up and seeing animals everyday was an added bonus!
