Most amazing host, the property is stunning as are the cabins and tree houses. We had the best dinners in months prepared for us by Marcela. We saw Toucans, picked bananas of her tree, The pool and deck, the gazebo with hammocks, we arrived and chilled and enjoyed to the fullest our time. Highly recommend to anyone, young or retired, it's perfect!

The breakfast and food was great. They were very flexible in having us whatever time we wanted to eat. Great people as well!! So accommodating and friendly and helpful with whatever we wanted. We absolutely loved the traditional food. The town was 1.5 km away. We walked it a couple times and it was great exercise!! They were also very helpful with any questions we had

Vanilla Hills Lodge offers spacious bungalows located in the lush tropical jungle outside of San Ignacio. It is a short walk from the Mopan River and offers free Wi-Fi and parking. The property is in a wonderful location and our lodge was a lovingly decorated tree house in a secluded area of the jungle. Our lodge was large, with plenty of space for our things and a large bathroom with an outdoor shower (very cool during a thunderstorm!). The property was clean and had a nice pool and a restaurant with delicious food. I cannot finish this review without praising Claudia and her staff for their hospitality. Claudia booked our excursions and made sure we were happy and well cared for. I cannot thank her enough for making our honeymoon so memorable!

Felt like coming home, since we were there for the second time. We’ll definitely be back again! Such a beautiful place, great staff, very friendly and kind. Located in the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve, this eco-resort is surrounded by a tropical rainforest with 140 km of private hiking trails. It offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and yoga school. We were looking for a peaceful getaway and it is exactly what we got. We had a picnic lunch, dinner at Slate and breakfast at Sap and every meal was exceptional. It was easy to book activities in advance.

The property is stunning, nestled between the botanical gardens and the Macal River. The landscaping is gorgeous and the facilities were great. I stayed for 3 days and did not leave the resort. The all inclusive package makes it easy, the food was superb. Staff was wonderful. Laid back atmosphere yet felt high class. Massages were great. Rooms 1-3 will have wifi as they’re next to reception building. The new pool is amazing.
