The breakfast spread is adequate and the walk to the river jetty is quite rewarding for birds . There is a resident large group of banded mongooses who are super cute and on their own . The trees in the property are filled with weaver bird nests and there is a raucous group of Grey Turacos and Mouse birds who will keep you rapt with attention at their antics . The restaurant also serves lunch & dinner and has room service although a limited menu.

Situated on the banks of the lower Chobe River in the Kasane region, River View Lodge offers rooms and chalet accommodation with river and garden views as well as an outdoor pool. The lodge had a beautiful location right at the river, which you can enjoy from the pool and lounge area. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food is very good and organised tours are super nice.
