The lodge is located on the edge of the island, offering the most amazing view on the Titicaca lake, the Isla de la Luna, and the high Andean summits on the far. The experience starts with a reasonable hike, for which you can hire a Llama to carry your luggage’s, and is rewarded with the amazing view at the lodge. Rooms are superb, well equipped, spacious, and the view, again, from the bed, is incredible. Breakfast was also fantastic ! In the main house, still with the view.

A very clean modern room with great views over the lake and a very warm blanket. Breakfast and dinner were nice.

Amazing panoramic views, great terrace for sunbathing/star gazing, hot water with good pressure (can be an issue on small islands but not here!) and comfy beds, along with breakfast being brought to your room made for a lovely 1 night stay

Campo Santo offers amazing value. it is superbly located above the Yemeni port and ideal for those wishing to explore the island. Our deluxe room was well furnished, comfortable , food was excellent and our hosts were most welcoming and helpful. We came back late one evening and they went out of their way to prepare a meal for us.

We absolutely loved staying here. The lodge is owned and operated by a local family. They have built a great lodge that is really well taken care of. The view of the lake from the rooms and the property is absolutely stunning. We found time everyday at the property to just sit on the outside chairs to take in the view, read a bit and watch the people go by with their donkeys and produce from their land. The family (Oscar, Sonia, Lis) were super friendly and helpful. They did a great job with breakfast. We loved that they also offered dinner which Sonia, the mother, makes herself. After taking long hikes around the island, we didn't have the energy to go out for dinner. The guestroom is very well done and super well taken care of and clean. We stayed in a family room with a lake view which was very large. The shower had reasonable pressure and hot water. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of blankets and an electric heater for the chilly nights. It is a very steep climb from the boat drop off point to the various lodges. The Utasawa lodge offers donkey service for getting your luggage up the mountain. I strongly suggest you take advantage of it. We thought it was a bargain, particularly after watching everyone with luggage struggling big time to make it up the mountain to the various lodges and hostals. We were sad to leave after three nights. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely recommend to any of our friends if visiting the island.

If you want what is arguably the best view on Isla del Sol right from your hotel room then look no further 🤩 – the room was also nice and warm, with a comfortable bed. The location of the hotel is also excellent, especially if you're doing the popular "2 day / 1 night Copacabana + Isla del Sol" itinerary, as you can easily hike the south part of the island on the first day, and then do the south–north through hike (or the opposite) on the second day. The host can even help you with luggage logistics for a small fee in case you're pressed for time due to the boat schedules. Plus, the price even included breakfast which was great!
