From the very friendly and professional welcome, to the scenic walk where we spotted wonderful plants and flowers, to a great dinner with a log fire in the background, to the welcoming candles and fire in our room etc etc..... we felt so spoilt and blessed to spend time in this wonderful place and with these friendly staff.

Great place to rewind. Loved swimming in the river to cool off especially when accompanied by one of the cute dogs and the friendly cat. Amazing dinners served and eaten with interesting and friendly hosts.

Lovely location, we had an amazing view of the night's sky! The hot tub and braai were brilliant. Lydia and her family are great hosts, we'd definitely return :)

Friendly hosts and beautiful surroundings. You can pop over the de Pakys Pass if you are keen to hike. Loved the orange and pecan trees in the garden and the hot tub and indoor fireplace were much used and appreciated. If you get hot you can dip in the river and Clan william is only a 15 minute drive away. I would definitely recommend it :)) .

The location is as it is advertised: remote! Which is exactly what we were after. It was perfect for winding down, getting away from civilization, yet still be very comfortable... How nice to forget your phone exists! So quiet, we slept so well!
