Amazing hotel, in a superb location, with lots of great restaurants and bars in a walking distance. The staff is super kind and attentive, the room is clean and comfortable, the rooftop bar and the swimming pool are just perfect, providing us with a great relaxation after a busy day touring the island. Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. Great hotel! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite comfortable with possibly the best bed we slept on during our month long trip. Bathroom was clean, and the balcony was a nice addition. Great AC. Parking was easy and close. This hotel has the best, most elaborate breakfast I’ve ever experienced. It was delicious and filling and varied. We loved the beach club area, though would recommend water shoes as the beach is quite rocky. Would gladly stay here again.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. This place is like heaven. Perfect location for staying in Madeira. The view from the windows is breathtaking. 100% we will come back here. Also thank you for the delicious breakfast!
