From the hallway coffee/water/chocolate station; to the gorgeous courtyard view; to the lovely accommodations with separate shower and toilet rooms; to the lavish breakfast the following morning - the Volkshaus did not disappoint! If I could rate the hotel above a 10, I would do so in a quick second! Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip!

It is one of the most enjoyable hotels we have stayed in during our travels so far. Everything is very carefully thought out. The location is great! Lovely place, close to tram with good connection to city centre. Shops nearby. Nice balcony. There were games for kids. Very clean. Friendly and helpful host. Well equipped kitchen. There is a beautiful park nearby with big playground. Would definitely book again.

Offering city views, Best located & fully equipped apartment at Basel SBB main station is an accommodation situated in Basel, 1.4 km from Zoological Garden and 1.6 km from Kunstmuseum Basel. Location was perfect. We had a supermarket in front of the apartment, 2min walking we had an asiatic take out place where we ate dinner for a good price and super delicious. The train station was 5 min walking and the centre of Basel was about 15min walking. The appartment looked very nice and big. It was very clean.
