It is located in the centre of one of the world's coolest cities, right in the heart of the Amazon. Its staff (especially Bruna and Louis) are always friendly, helpful, and full of life, and do their best to make you feel welcome and at home. The partnership with Iguana Tours means that guests can select from a wide range of tours that are full of excitement and adventure: I would recommend two tours - the one-day Fluvial Day Tour and the multi-day Sunrise Package Tour - both of which I thoroughly enjoyed; unfortunately, I was running short of time, or I would have liked to join the tour to Presidente Figueiredo as well. The hostel also attracts a really fun and adventurous crowd united by a desire to explore the Amazon, so even if one arrives a solo traveller, one departs with a large group of friends with whom you would have spent time not only in the hostel, but also on various tours. I will definitely return someday!

When I sent to the rain forest, they took care of my things. When I came back heat shocked and burned because our boat got stuck in quicksand, they went to the pharmacy for me to get medicine. They are honestly the nicest. Also this is definitely the best budget for central Manaus. They have air conditioning, the rooms are safe, it’s not a fancy American chain hotel, instead they arrange everything with so much love…

The units are clean, well-equipped and very spacious, containing a washing machine and coffee maker. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe in this secure and gated property, and will most definitely be staying here again when I return to Manaus. Hotel Lagoa is located in Manaus. Free WiFi access is available. Boasting simple décor, each guestroom provides a TV, air conditioning and a minibar. Private bathroom also comes with a shower. The staff was very kind! They had good recommendations and there was a nice family feel. Breakfast was great and changed a little every day! The rooms were big and quiet. The bathrooms were very nice with great details like a cup for your toothbrush and the counter in the bedroom was great for work and organization.
