This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

The host was wonderful, she was easy to reach and sent us many tips and suggestions for our time there! Absolutely wonderful place to rent for a bigger family or a group of friends! We had the most incredible time at Klawerjas. The cottage is decorated so beautifully. The kitchen has everything you need and everything has been thought of down to the smallest detail. The rooms are stunning and so are the bathrooms. There is a hot tub and even a pickleball court with the mountains in the backdrop. Restaurants are close by as well as lovely wine farms like Springfield estate. We can highly recommend staying here
