Capra 2 is in an excellently located older building, easy walking distance to downtown Glarus. The apartment is lovingly renovated, spotlessly clean, and full of thoughtful touches. There were coffee capsules, tea bags, sugar and cream. There was enough toilet paper, washing up liquid, and even shower gel. The host contacted us daily and was available to answer any questions, even giving restaurant recommendations. We were very comfortable and felt very welcomed.

Very spacious apartment. Very clean . The kitchen is very well equipped. Super views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. Close to the town centre and train station. The communication with Martin the owner was easy and very efficient.

The location was great once we figured it out. You park at the bar and walk across the street for approximately 5 minutes toward the house with the red shutters. (Do not try to drive there or you will get lost). My dad and I had a beer at the bar. (small local bar with good local beer). The beds were very comfortable. You walk in the house and straight ahead is the stairway up to the 2 bedrooms. To the side, is a small kitchen. It has a small oven, stove, dishes, pots, and pans. The shower has good hot water and water pressure. There is a washing machine, but we did not use it. It's a small space but perfect for 2-3 people. I went with my parents, who are in their 70s and had a very nice visit. You are in a valley and can see the mountains all around you. We had a great meal at the Italian restaurant (Ristorante Tris) and enjoyed Heididorf (not to be confused with Heidi land).

Spotless apartment near train station. Quiet and supremely outfitted. Excellent selection of welcome treats in fridge. Beautiful stay.
