He gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner. He kept an eye on my car parked across the street from the Casa Luar while we hiked 4 days northbound on the area’s Fisherman’s Path. The breakfast was outstanding! Fresh baked bread, excellent coffee, fresh juice, pastries! Very tasty, very convenient and taken together with the room, excellent value for the price. The room was spotlessly clean. The location was very convenient for our purposes and we were able to feel comfortable about parking our car there while we hiked. As soon as we came back 4 days later to retrieve our car, the owner immediately came out and chatted with us!

Set in a typical white-washed house, each room has a private bathroom featuring free toiletries and a hairdryer. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Love the room just wish we had more chance to use the patio (couldn’t this time because of the weather). Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

The property has sea views and is 800 metres from Praia de Nossa Senhora and less than 1 km from Alteirinhos Beach. The property is non-smoking and is set 13 km from Sardao Cape. Everything. The lady is nice, the location is great, the rooms were excellent and above expectations.

Most likely one of the most interesting and memorable places we’ve visited. Views off the terrace are stunning and walking through the old town of Monsaraz was surreal. Felt like time was trying to stand still.
