The beds are very comfortable, and there are also desks and space to hang clothes. The staff of Fonte d'Amandos is charming and always helpful. Every morning you can have breakfast at the bakery, which serves a good variety of rolls and cakes, both sweet and savoury. Many local people come for a coffee, and to buy bread there. There is parking nearby. We have stayed there before, and we will certainly come back.

Their home is a little way off the Camino trail so they picked us up on the trail and returned us the next day. Olga was also kind enough to warm up some food that we had brought for dinner that evening. The room was comfortable and we appreciated the small touches like fresh cookies, coffee and tea. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight - eggs from the chickens in the garden, fresh bread from the local bakery, jams that Olga had made herself and cheese from the neighbour. A real treat for 2 hungry pilgrims.
