Resan dit upp på serpentinvägar för att nå bergets topp med den gamla byggnaden och alla dess gränder. Otroligt exotiskt. Wonderful stay at this accommodation. Beautiful room, spotlessly clean, wonderful view. Lovely quaint town. Excellent recommendations for restaurants. Host went out of her way to assist us. The bar where breakfast was served was lovely with a wonderful view, they served the most delicious pistachio ice cream served in a brioche, a must have if you visit here!

Amantea is such a beautiful little city in Italy & I wish it got as much attention as other more hard-to-reach tourist destinations (aka, not having to deal with as many vespas not obeying traffic rules; sidewalks to use; etc.). Another great quality of the city is its lodging and Al Duomo B&B is one of those places. Firstly, I recommend reserving with them directly to avoid any issues with 3rd parties and also to be able to deal directly with them versus an outside company. Secondly, use the chat function as speaking with Francesca will bring a smile to your day whenever you speak with her. When she needed to follow up or if I had questions, she was not only available and replied readily but she was kind. Thirdly, she and her father are very sweet. Some of the sweetest humans in Amantea, I feel. They helped with our ridiculous amount of luggage to the room, & wouldn’t accept a tip! When it turned out that my mom could not walk all the stairs to the room, they worked on a solution with us that would benefit all parties. We will forever be grateful to them for their assistance, kindness, and understanding. Lastly, the partner place to get breakfast is very cute and tasty. Their pastries were to die for! If you want a beautiful stay in Amantea, this is where to do it! Just know that you will reach your 10,000 steps a day quota when staying here, but it won’t matter since you’ll be smiling from the great service they provide.

very good location, free parking on the street, very very comfortable bed and pillow, clean and big bathroom, free coffee and tea, balcony with beautiful view to the garden, cozy and quiet place but near center. Fast and easy check in, entrance with codes 👍
