The house and surroundings were stunningly beautiful. It felt incredibly peaceful in the middle of a forest. Our hosts were so friendly and joined us for breakfast. The owner is a master chocolatier and he treated us to some of his delicious chocolate and macarons. Our room was up in the eaves and had beautiful exposed beams.

Beakfast was lovely with home made items, lemon curd, not traditionally French and shortbread, a Scottish biscuit. Our , with hostess is obviously a good cook willing to try new dishes. Setting was good,opposite an open area lined with Catalpa trees. Our dog was also made welcome and we were given directions to a simple restaurant which cooked excellent mussels.

It was our third stay . Excellent service and host. Calm and relaxing ambience. Nice products,drinks,etc. available to purchase to make nice dinner in kitchen on arrival. Very good breakfast .Catered for gluten free and dairy free diet of one of us very well. Wish we could have stayed longer to use pool and spend more time in area.

nice hotel and nice and friendly staff. We used it as intermediate hotel to get to our final destination. There was only one choice in menu (which was very good and well prepared), but they adapted it a bit for one of my children who did not like the original one.
