From my experience this is the cheapest hotel in Cologne for how accessible it is to the main city. The tra, station is literally right outside the door. You will be by the Hansaring station in 20 minutes, Main station or Messecenter by 30. Don't let the distance scare you.

Very friendly and helpful staff that goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The single room has the perfect size for a single traveler. Everything was clean and well maintained and despite being on a major street it was quiet. Great working and fast WiFi.

I really like staying at this hotel. The parking is so easy and convenient. There is a bar and restaurant right below your room so you can have some beers or cocktails and just go up the stairs to your room. I love supporting family-owned hotels rather than the big chains. I have stayed here before this trip, and I hope to stay here again the next time I visit Cologne. Both times I stayed the staff was so friendly and helpful to me. This time I had a low pressure on my BMW tire and the man got me pointed in the right direction to get it looked at. The rooms are nice and comfortable. They are spacious. The bathrooms are nice. It is so easy to find and drive to. And the price is very good and descent.

The hotel's location and its cost are the two biggest advantages in my opinion. It's a 15-minute walk to the cathedral, there's a waterfront nearby, and two supermarkets are close by. I'd also like to mention the staff: we arrived quite late, around 23:00, but they welcomed us and checked us in. The room had everything we needed - a kettle, a hairdryer, a small refrigerator. They even provided paper cups! For us, as budget travelers, this hotel was an ideal choice, and I must say we were satisfied.

I have traveled to Koln for ANUGA. I have never been to Koln and I didn't know what to expect. So, here's my experience! Lovely place, quiet neighborhood. It is so quiet at night you won't believe especially if you're somebody living in a city like me! No cars passing, no sirens from police cars or ambulances. It is so peaceful and it was perfect! It is not a hotel but a B&B! The owner shares a part of his house with you so, please be considerate! He'll help you with everything you may need but there are areas that are and should remain private. Breakfast was served every morning but I'm not a breakfast guy... A cup or two of coffee is all I need and I was fine with my choice. But there was a nice thing to see the owner going to the bakery down the street every morning to bring fresh bread and pastries. It was a nice touch and I'm still a no breakfast person but if you are, fresh bread and pastries in the morning along a perfect cup of coffee must be nice. Prepare yourself for the most comfortable mattress you have ever experienced! I traveled all over the world and I have spent good money on my beds but that was a different level of comfort! I have slept like a baby! Again, it is not a hotel and there is a shared bathroom. Didn't bother me at all and there is a toilet downstairs too. It might be a problem if you're in a camp or something where everybody wakes up at the same time. It was not the case while I was there! You will have free parking 15 meters away from the gate. Perfect! There are two restaurants near by but be aware that one of the restaurants is open only on Thursdays and Fridays. Gorgeous garden and great food though... The second one serves Greek dishes and, as I have traveled to Greece every year for the past 3 years, I can tell you the food is pretty close to the real home made food food I had in Greece. Be prepared though to pay cash but, there is an ATM near by...

Breakfast was outstanding. The location was a little far from the city, but not bad. I chose this on purpose for a quieter location.

The location is perfect, the staff super nice, room is small but fits all perfectly. Shower and toilet are completely fine.

Everything from the service to the daily breakfast. The staff in charge were not only polite but were very accomodating to anything I asked about or suggested. I most definitely will book again here for the next Euroblast.
