This is an unique place in the national park! We have been so impressed that we immediately booked the next stay really soon. You will be in luck if one bungalow is available. The view is unbeatable! You will really feel the connection with the nature, the large spaces, all very beautiful. The owners go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. The amazing pool is always ready for you to jump in, and it is so lovely to relax on the individual patios in the evening, watching the sunset over the national park. Excellent breakfast, healthy and diversified. Coffee machine always available was greatly appreciated, as well as the excellent wine/juice/other drinks from local producers that we could order at any time. All in all, this is a gem, and we are looking forward to returning very soon.

Opitz family are amazing hosts. The rooms are well equipped and clean, the breakfast is perfect, but most of all we enjoyed the carrying attitude of Angela, Maria, Willi and Ian. We made the wine testing of the house and it was really super well prepared and served. This is place where we want to go again and again!

Breakfast was excellent, the hosts were very friendly and helpful and I liked the chili products on offer. I would definitely recommend this B&B to friends and acquaintances, and will definitely come again.

Located within 22 km of Esterhazy Castle and 23 km of Mönchhof Village Museum, Weingut Gastehaus Palkowitsch provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Illmitz.

All in all, the stay was great! I got the apartment, which is very comfortable, clean, air-conditioned, equipped with modern furniture and quite a large variety of kitchen utensils (cutlery, plates, pots, etc.) and even has a terrace. As a cyclist, I appreciated safe and easily reachable/accessible bike parking inside the premises. The host was really friendly and welcoming (thanks again for the nice stay!) and replied to my Booking messages quickly. Note that breakfast was not included with booking the apartment, but it could be added for 10 EUR a day - well worth the price, as it offered everything I needed and liked.

Excellent room, excellent breakfast, excellent service, very friendly owner! We tasted wine and got many good tips. Perfect for bird watchers, great birdwatching at walking distance, golden oriole breeding just behind the building. The park's information center is just around the corner. Perfect for wine lovers too.Highly recommended.
