We booked cause of it has jacuzzi which we had a little time to enjoy in the morning. The breakfast was the best for us. Served in the picnic basket, all what we got was delicious (fresh cheese, bread, crosaints...). Highly recommended.

The location could not be better, right at the old center, near a very nice plaza with the small river that crosses the town running nearby and at a short distance from the best places to visit; the building itself is beautiful outside and inside and masterfully renovated and decorated; the old center was a grateful surprise: it is all up and down with lots of stairs and narrow alleys, many beautiful buildings and a lot of renovation going on; the people we met at the street, the museum, the tourism office were all very proud of Santa Comba Dão and willing to help and explain and make suggestions; the views of the Dão river from the viewpoint of Outeirinho, are delightful and the walk or bike ride on the "Ecopista do Dão" is not to be missed; last but not least, not to be missed in the town is the restaurant "Cova Funda", not only their food is home made and delicious but the owners are so welcoming that you feel at home from the start
