The apartment has such an interesting design where you can hide the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen from the main living area. the lighting of the space was done with very techy lights. the apartment came with 2 balconies that are big enough to set 2 chairs on each and soak up the local action right below. the street in front of five place is a main walking street for people coming to this part of the town so car traffic is extremely limited. Stores are within a 2 minute walk and restaurants are even less. We walked to the beach and swam everyday (just around the corner...approximately 200 meters). Coffee was available in the common area, or you can walk 50 meters where there are two excellent coffee shops. This was our favorite and most memorable stop in all of cental / southern Italy ..

The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Actually the apartment is equipped with everything that you need - cooking stuff, iron, dryer, basic breakfast food, coffee, tea, etc. Also good quality WiFi connection. We had an amazing sea view with beautiful sunsets that we could watch from our balcony. The beach is just by the apartment. We had good contact with the host, also he gave us some great advice on what to do and what to see around. Also we've received Sicilian welcome wine on arriving.

The staff was amazing. They were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. One of the best hotel staffs we have ever come across. The building design is really cool. The lobby of each floor was made of glass and so the natural light in the room came through the window to the lobby. No exterior windows meant the room was quiet even when the city around was still up with nightlife. Because it is not a large hotel, there were several times when we enjoyed the roof top pool all to ourselves.
