Is a 1 bedroom apartment so we could cook which was awesome! Cheaper than staying in sedona jerome or cottonwood but you're still super close to everything!
Vintage mining town between Sedona and Prescott, AZ.
Vintage mining town between Sedona and Prescott, AZ. Wonderful galleries, wines, bars, restaurants. The town is crowded in the summers so arrive early for limited parking. If possible, stay overnight at The Clinkscale or Hotel Connor. The Clinkscale has an excellent restaurant & bar. The Hotel Connor has a bar (Spirits Room) with live music.

If you like historic towns with lots of history this is a great place to visit. The town goes to bed pretty early so don't plan on partying all night at the clubs because they don't have em, just a couple of bars. I highly recommend taking a ghost tour or two to learn more about the town's history and such. It's a slightly upscale type of town so it's expensive but well worth it. Learn some about Jerome's history before you go and you will appreciate it so much more. Oh ya, the parking really sucks since the town was built before cars were invented so you are warned.

After a disappointing (short) trip to Sedona we were delighted with Jerome. This small, historic mining town was a welcome relief from an overcrowded tourist trap. Jerome is easily walkable and has several very nice restaurants and shops. If a slower pace with old buildings (sometimes shells of buildings) is your idea of great place to visit, then Jerome is your town. We had an early delightful dinner at Clinkscale and some wonderful ice cream at Copper Country Fudge. Be aware that parking is difficult at times and most of the street parking is paid parking. Also, be aware that Jerome is on the side of a mountain and ALL of the streets are "uphill" - easy to get around but not a flat piece of property anywhere.

Jerome is a hillside old mining town with lots of history.
Jerome is a hillside old mining town with lots of history. Not meant for the clean and pristine. Meant for the adventurous and mining history buffs of the old mining towns in Arizona. We go back every year for a two night stay.

Loved learning about the history of Jerome.
Loved learning about the history of Jerome. We watched a glass blowing demonstration, had lunch at Mile High Grill(excellent food), went to a beautiful kaleidoscope shop, along with many other fun shops and ended our day with dinner at Haunted Hamburger!

Jerome is a great place to get away from Phoenix.
Jerome is a great place to get away from Phoenix. Unfortunately, I checked a website for local live music at the Spirit Room, which said there would be live music. That's why I went there. There was NOT any live music. Bummer.
Location is the absolute BEST in Jerome! Unfortunately, the Spirit Room no longer has live music (which is why we went to Jerome in the first place), which is probably good news for people who wouldn't want to be bothered by loud music. Tom, who checked us in, was super nice and friendly. Loved that the hotel is dog friendly ($150 deposit-- yikes!), unfortunately the town is not very dog friendly (unlike Prescott). The bed was decently comfy and there were plenty of very fluffy towels
Everything! Suoer clean & new but kept spooky Jerome theme. Small and private. Free access to water, ice & coffee. Restaurant right downstairs with staff more than happy to make sure guests get a table. Staff helpful & friendly on every count. It’s our third time in Jerome, first time here (it’s new) Loved staying here!
Charming hotel, remodel was very nice. The food though, simply divine! Everything we had to eat was first class and the cocktails sublime. Joe's southwest sangria was so fresh and zesty - I want to steal/copy the recipe for my restaurant!
What a cozy place to be in Jerome. We will stay here again. Clean. Comfortable. Can sit outside and enjoy the view. Quiet. Kitchen is great to have. So worth it to stay here.
Literally everything else was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I hope to make Jerome our home one day. Thank you so so much for inviting us into your amazing place!!
