Very close to the restaurants, bars, beach and Gouvia marina. Wonderful staff, we arrived several hours before our checkin and they helped us leave our bags in a secure location and get right to enjoying some drinks by the pool while we waited for the room to be ready.

We loved everything about the hotel. The staff was super friendly, the food was excellent (they provide breakfast and dinner). The room, the bed and the pillow were comfortable enough. Free parking, pool, good location (we had a car, so it was easy to get there).

Absolutely nothing. The hotel is nothing like that described, and how on earth this dump could be rated 4* escapes me. At best it is 2* and even then this is being extremely generous. Not one guest we met was satisfied with the hotel. Quite simply it is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

Small resort Good location, near Corfu town with easy transportation by bus to hotel from Airport and Corfu town. Beautiful stoney beach with €12 euro charge for 2 beds & umbrella. Good variety of restaurants but in our experience cost has increased for food and drink since last year.

Gouvia itself isn’t great.
Gouvia itself isn’t great. Beach is small, crowded, merky water etc - no where near as good as other beaches on the island. The town has some lovely restaurants, but it’s very very touristy (Brits abroad - a bit like Benidorm).
Has good bus links to Corfu Town and some much nicer beaches and places on the island.

The location of Gouvia is excellent!
The location of Gouvia is excellent! Close enough to Corfu Town, Corfu port and Corfu airport, so very accessible. It has a range of restaurants and cafes around, enough shops and supermarkets and is a 2 minute walk to the main road foing through the island. However, as the beach is not very nice and not well maintained, it is not a place to spend your vacation. We only spent the nights in Gouvia and spent the days exploring the island and for such a vacation I would recommend it. Also, as it gets quite noisy at night, I would not recommend it to families with young kids or older people looking for some restful and peaceful vacation.

It is a comfortable place to stay, close to the beach, close to Corfu city and airport. However you will need to rent a car. Once you have one, it is a great place, since you can easily drive to all other parts of the island.

The village is small, but with nice view to the sea, warm water, beach with stones, good restaurants, not far from the Corfu town. The restaurant in the Palotel hitel was good, the breakfast bar with iced coffe fresh juices, ive cream and waffles was perfect. Te excursions can be bought near, as well as car rent.
Karmela and her team were super customer oriented and were always looking out for us during our stay. They not only helped to book a taxi transfer from the airport but they even upgraded us to a junior suite! Something which we highly appreciated. The rooms were lovely and the hotel is set in a very tranquil garden, 10min walk from Gouvia town, and the beach. The pool and the pool bar were very much appreciated for its serene atmosphere. Breakfast was superb which several options to choose from. Coffee could be better!
Our stay was excellent. Our host collected us from the airport and showed us the apartment. Gouvia is a great location for exploring the island. Even without a car there is a local bus stop at the top of the road which is easy to use and get around. The beach / bars / restaurants are all less than 2mins walk. The town has a calm vibe but with plenty of selections for restaurants, we stayed 5 nights and ate in different places every night - the beach bar also has different performances.
The apartment was spacious and located nearby grocery shop, swimming pool and Gouvia Beach as well as 15 mins drive from Corfu Town. The apartment was at first floor, accessible, and was quite place. A great yard in front, for nice staying. The Hosts, Spiros and his wife and Bella (their dog:)) were so caring and attentive to details to make our staying comfortable. Every two days we had room service and the house lady was wonderful taking care of the apartment.
Very nice hotel on a very convenient place just next to the bus stop of bus No 7, which is going from the Old Town to the beaches of Dassia and Ipssos and busses to Paleokastritsa.
Very clean place with a beautiful swimming pool.
And I had a nice specious room with nice balcony and swimming pool view.
The lovely lady on the reception(Lucrezia) was always very smiling and ready to assist me with everything.
I would recommend it for short or long stay.
We had a really wonderful stay at Pierhouse Gouvia, Alex was so helpful and welcoming and was there to answer any questions we had about Corfu, Gouvia or the accommodation very quickly. We absolutely loved Gouvia which had some incredible restaurants. It was very central to get to other areas of Corfu, such as the old town or beach areas. For such a reasonable price we would definitely come again
Location is very good if you have rental car, in 20 minutes you can reach nice beaches at the west side of the island, an Corfu town is close by as well, small supermarket with reasonable prices in 1 minute walking distance
Staff was friendly, rooms were cleaned regularly, bathroom interior was new
The breakfast was good, and it had a decent variety of foods to choose from. The staff was great, very happy and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect in regard to the beach. The closest restaurants were great, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend 9 Muses for a great seafood dinner.
Very close to the restaurants, bars, beach and Gouvia marina. Wonderful staff, we arrived several hours before our checkin and they helped us leave our bags in a secure location and get right to enjoying some drinks by the pool while we waited for the room to be ready.
It was a small hotel in a little out of the way area. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Owner was extremely nice and helpful. When I travel in Europe I don't expect all the amenities that you find in an American hotel. That is the charm of traveling abroad.
Starting with Christos, family, staff, great people, ready to help any time and in any way possible. Very clean, the best pillow I had so far in a hotel( I have a big problem with pillow). I recommend the hotel if you are planning to go to Gouvia.
Our go-to hotel when visiting Gouvia. Lovely pool and bar area and a lovely family too. Its in ideal location near a large supermarket and only 2 mintes walk from the bars and eateries. The rooms are VERY SMALL however they're still nice.
The restaurants in the area were very nice, a decent variety. The hotel restaurant drinks were great. Rooms were perfect for the amount of time we stayed. Staff was friendly.
Everything, the hotel is amazing, the staff is super generous, would definitely go again and it's recommend to anyone who is looking for a great boutique hotel
An excellent hotel with great location. Ideal for wandering into Gouvia Town. Breakfast was lovely. Always stocked well whatever time we went down for it.
Good location (near beach, bus stops and super market). Very deep pool with sun lounges. Lots of friendly cats. Good breakfast. Very clean and nice hotel.
