A Fairytale Place

Beautiful spot with plenty to occupy your time for several days. Must sees are the Bled Castle, visit to the Island and a walk around the lake. If walk is too much (around 6 km) there is electric train that will take you for the full or part of that scenic walk. For those that enjoy walking there are numerous walks and hikes off the lake and beyond.

Lake bled exceeded our expectations.
Lake bled exceeded our expectations. We flew into Trieste airport and stayed the first night in Ljubljana which was really beautiful and we took the local bus €8 for 4 of us out to lake bled where we stayed for a further 3 nights there was so much to do and see with amazk g scenery and plenty of walking trails. We did the lap of the lake, climbed to the castle, boat trip to the Island, tour out to vintgar gorge (amazing) we also visited Bohinj Lake again €10 for 4 by bus. There are lots of other activities. If there were direct flights to Ljubljana we would all love to go back.

There are several options to visit. The castle, the lake. So many opprtunities to ski sports, walk in the forests. Waterfall, beautiful lakes not only the Bled one. Ojstrica is a good program, the best viewing point to the castle but be prepared a short via ferrata as well. Beautiful really.RichárdHungary - 10Scored 10

Wonderful, beautiful. But it was raining all the time, so we couldn´t see everything what we want. The small "island" on lake is perfect. Very recommended. And people are so friendly there....

Amazingly beautiful. So much to see. The boat trip was great. Walk up to castle was tough but so worth it. The blue color of the lake was breathtaking. One if the most beautiful places I have ever been to.

Breakfast was amazing, they legit had everything to choose from, we were so full. It is a lovely family run place, the whole family were lovely and provided recommendations and directions when needed, they also helped my partner when he was sick with food poisoning from the Bled cake at lake bled, they gave us tea and fresh mint, they were so kind. they also had free bike hire! The breakfast was the best we had in Slovenia, you could tell it was prepared with love! The staff was kind and very helpful. I loved that they provided bikes for the guests to use. Location was perfect for exploring Lake Bled, and was quick and easy to access the lake by walking or riding bikes. We especially enjoyed having a glass of wine while watching the sun set from the balcony. Gaining access to our room was easy; the hosts were very responsive to messages via Booking.com. The hotel is in walking distance of Lake Bled and there are plently of good restaurants nearby - we highly recommend the Old Cellar just around the block from the Villa Special!

A stunning bed and breakfast on its own vast grounds just outside of the center of Bled. The town center and lake are easily accessible on a bike/ped trail at the edge of the property. The hotel has bicycles, e-bikes and e-scooters for rent. The agricultural neighborhood just up the hill from the hotel is a wonderful area to explore and also another way to get into town. The rooms are stunning and the staff is great.

It was the cheapest for the comfort it offers close the Bled Lake and to the other mountain attractions. At a similar price (62 euros) you can find very basic rooms in other properties. The property would need some renovation, but all in all, everything was functional and clean.

The advantage was the hotel parking lot and bicycle storage. The breakfasts at the hotel were absolutely excellent. We also tried the hotel restaurant and can only recommend it. From the point of view of the location of the hotel, it's perfect - with a view of the lake, the island and Bled Castle.
