Dyke Rest was the perfect spot for us in Trinco. We were going back and forth about whether we wanted to be in town or at Uppevelli or Nivalhi up the coast and we were so glad we chose here. It was everything we wanted.
It was great to be able to walk around town and find things on our own- a wonderful bakery for breakfast and a place to buy beers to bring back to our terrace. @blue ocean water sports was right around the corner where we went for diving and a pigeon island trip. But the snorkeling out back of Dyke Rest was also excellent. We saw many of the same things that we saw on our boat excursions. the proprietors were also awesome and helpful. Moses brought us tea every morning - free of charge. And on our last night they cooked up the fresh fish, calamari and vegetables that we bought at the fish market that morning. Altogether paradise for us to be mostly autonomous and not have to rely on anyone else for resort prices, food or rides anywhere. We booked for three nights and stayed for 4.
