We have travelled to Buccholz in der Nordheide a number of...
We have travelled to Buccholz in der Nordheide a number of times. It is close to shops, hiking and other attractions. This time we also went for the little Christmas market. It snowed for the entire week which made it lovely! For children, there is an open air museum and a wildlife park locally which are both worth visiting. A car is the easiest way to travel in the area but there is a train station for further afield

Our hotel in Buchholz in der Nordheide was ideally situated close to the autobahn and a great base to explore further afield around Harburg, in Lower Saxony, and even into Denmark. And for city lovers it is situated only 25kms from Hamburg which can be easily explored before returning to this area for well earned relaxation.

The property manager is wonderful man: very polite and positive. The rooms are ok, there's also a working place in the room (thanks for this!), so I would recommend this hotel for everyone who drives on north region and needs to stay.
