Everything about our two night stay was wonderful! From the moment we stepped inside we knew we were in a special place. Once a monastery, then a prison, this boutique hotel retains its historic character (including original cast iron prison cell doors!) while providing an upscale experience. Each corner and wall is graced with tasteful and inviting antiques; every floor has a sitting area where you can sink into a wonderfully welcoming velvet sofa. The staff are absolutely lovely and ultra helpful. Silvia at the front desk was so sweet and gave us excellent suggestions for where to eat, as well as running across the street to an affiliated restaurant to get baking soda and salt for the fresh red wine stain on my blouse (yes, it came out as a result!). And then there’s the breakfast buffet…wow! Absolutely delish! So much variety and top notch quality. The croissants couldn’t have been fresher if they had come directly from Paris. And to make it even more fantastic, they served it on their rooftop terrace on the second day we were there. What a spectacular view of the sea!
Xilhotel is a unique, historic building 328 feet from Gallipoli Train Station and 5 minutes' walk from the old town and the port. The rooftop bar and sun deck offer views of the Ionian Sea.

The staff was extremely helpful in guiding us to a parking spot, picking us up, showing us all the facilities at check in. We enjoyed our apertivo cocktail and conversation with the bartender on their terrace. The breakfast was outstanding and everyone was a joy to be around.

Nice compact town with lots of history and great sea views.
Nice compact town with lots of history and great sea views. Working harbour with a variety of boats and yachts in moorings.
Has been taken over a bit too much by continuous seaside souvenir shops making it a bit tacky in places. Plenty of decent restaurants with an abundance of seafood.

A lively and picturesque old town with an excellent offer.
A lively and picturesque old town with an excellent offer. The pulse of the city can only be felt if you stay in the old town on the island. You can be prepared for remote parking, impossible staircases in buildings... but everything you need on vacation is within walking distance.

We liked town and surrounding. Beautiful fish restaurants everywhere. Since we rented the car had the options to explore the other towns nearby. Galippoli was our base and from then we visited historical small town Nardo. The very good option to start your trip in Apulia😊

Gallipoli is a fantastic small town. the old town is separated from the other part of the town by a bridge .Located on top of a rock the old town with the small castle make a very picturesque place where to take pictures from any corners. surrounded by turquoise colour water. In October the water's temperature is still warm for you to enjoy as well as to get a suntan. Lots of restaurants one better than another , offering fantastic panoramic view when sitting outside . The best way to get around gallipoli is on foot , cycling or a moped . In my opinion the best time to visit Gallipoli and surrounding is September ,october ,June and July . particularly good is October ,still warm ,good weather but very peaceful .

Everything was perfect, right from the initial contact with Vito. The room was fresh, clean and beautifully styled. Loved the terrace where breakfast was served and of course Christina was very special and a wonderful hostess who went that extra mile to look after us.
Our stay at the Louis Mary Apartment was excellent! The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable - just as described. The location, right in the center of Old Town Gallipoli couldn’t be beat! It was easy to walk all around the town and parking was nearby. Our host made our stay even better with excellent communication and recommendations for nearby restaurants and wineries. He was so helpful and was very responsive. It was a wonderful stay - we would highly recommend and hope to return again!
I would stay here again without hesitation. Best room of my 2 weeks in Italy! The room was very clean, well appointed, modern but with old world charm like exposed brick. The ocean view from both bedrooms was gorgeous and unobstructed. The windows are soundproof so even though it was on a busy street there was no noise. It was an easy walk to everything. Wonderful breakfast on the rooftop terrace with amazing views.
Mario was very friendly host. Although he did not speak english we were using google translate to communicate and he offered us coffee for welcome drink. Very nice accomodation in the center of Gallipoli, you have everything you need. Mario also made reservation in a restaurant for us which was delicious. In addition, he guided us to free public parking. Good breakfast as well (typical italian).
Clean large room, very nice home made breakfast with lots of variety and coffee.
Very nice venue, I guess you can have a blast of a weddingparty here 😀
Staff was welcoming and friendly.
We also had dinner one time, was also great!
We would surely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
Gallipoli is also a very nice place to stay, central to explore the south of Puglia.
Loved my stay at Cortine Moline, the location was perfect not far from the beach and deliciousness found in Gallipoli’s old town. The place was super clean and decorated tastefully. My room and terrace were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. A delicious breakfast with sea views made each day more wonderful. The staff was attentive and welcoming.
the hotel is very nice and clean. decoration is modern and very at a walkable distance to the city centre of Gallipoli. the staff is extremely kind and attentive to detail. we spent New Year’s Eve there and service was exceptional, the food was great (thank you to the Chef) and the staff always promptly available. couldn’t be happier with the choice
Fantastic family run guesthouse in a good location .Room large and had everything, great breakfast. The owners went way beyond what could be expected to get missing luggage returned from our flight to Italy.Highly recommended as a base to see Gallipoli .Close to railway station and city centre with free parking nearby
Tasty breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view over the Baia Verde and Sant'Andrea lighthouse. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location for exploring Gallipoli. The hotel offers a discount at Lido Sottovento, this includes a shuttle service - we ended up going 5 days in a row!
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in Donna Grazia Relais. The host Emanuele was very friendly, helpful and always ready to help us out. The hotel is located right in the historic center of gallipoli and there are a lot of restaurants, cafes and a beach just a quick walk away. Great place, best regards!

Best place to stay in Gallipoli - right in the heart of the city, each room unique, the maze of the hotel is charming, pool - relaxing, views - stunning, staff - most helpful.
Loved this place! Amazing service, very nice rooms, delicious and fresh breakfast. We really had a wonderful time. Want to go back to Italy already to go back to this place.
The location is superb and the hotel has its own lido just down the road. The staff are friendly and professional and the cleaning is excellent. No problems with the wifi.
The hotel is really nicely done. The location is close to the center (Gallipoli) and to the sea. The food was amazing and the staff as well. We would definitely go again.
One of the best hotels I've ever been to! For the first time in my life, the hotel exceeded my expectations! Would come back again and again! no one wanted to leave!
