The size of room is good, the beds are not too soft, it was nice sleep. But on the other hand the beds are also really small. You should not expect too much from this hotel. Although outside is really nice space. The breakfast included some pastry (it was good) and coffee. Ladies in the cafe are nice and very cheerful.

The Apulian capital Bari has been known for its port since Roman times. Nowadays there are 2 harbours: cruise ships and ferries to Greece and Croatia depart from the new port, while the old port shelters fishing vessels.
Between them is a seafront road bordering the real attraction – the old town. Narrow, cobbled streets lead under arches to hidden piazzas with pavement cafes. Many are on adjoining Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese, where the old Roman road is exposed.
The imposing 12th-century Norman-Swabian Castle guards the west of the historic centre, and the simple Cathedral of San Sabino is from the same period. Equally understated is the Basilica of St Nicholas, housing relics of the saint. Pope John Paul II once prayed there, which may have given rise to Bari Airport’s name: Karol Wojtyła Airport.
Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the meeting point of the old town and the Murat district, built under orders of Napoleon’s brother-in-law. Facing each other across this street are the colourful façades of the municipal office and Piccinni Theatre, though most prestigious is the Petruzzelli Theatre opera house.
Booking.com’s Bari accommodation includes luxury hotels by the Fiera del Levante, cheap city centre apartments, and B&Bs near the train station. For families, the slides and swimming pools of Bari Acquapark make a great day out.

Bari is a walkable city with something for everyone, old town, beach, shopping, lovely food and plenty to see. Transport links are good to allow you to visit more of Puglia. We enjoyed Matera, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Monopoli and Poligno a Mare

A charming resort town with not a lot of things to do, with the exception of the vast choice of traditional Italian food and cuisine, which perfectly captures the spirit of Italy. It has everything in a tight package.

Bari is interesting and certainly worth a visit.
Bari is interesting and certainly worth a visit. The old town is crowded and busy and the narrow streets are fun to explore but your jostled quite a bit and we were warned about pickpockets. Parking is also VERY difficult and all the car parks were fil and closed off. We got lucky and found a spot but it was luck!

The staff at the tourist info are very cordial and speak good English. Recommend to book a city tour to get to know Bari and it's traditions better. Visits to nearby towns may be easily planned beforehand using trains and buses. Not to miss Alberbello, Polignano a Mare, Grotte di Castellana, Matera and Lecce.

very interesting place to visit, especially BARI VECCHIA, if you are into theatres there are loads. Would recommend you rent a car as to visit close by villages, which are an absolute gem, like MONOPOLI, POLIGNANO A MARE, OSTUNI and if you are into zoos, visit the ZOO SAFARI and right after some spend some fun hours in the ZOO where there are also some roller coasters for some thrill seeking.

The coastline and Old Quarter were spectacular.
The coastline and Old Quarter were spectacular. Our favorite upscale restaurant recommended by a local friend was Giampaolo, Ia Francesco Lombardi 18, Bari. Another cafe we recommend is for the seaside location and long opening hours (7am-1am): Riviera, Lungomare Nazario Sauro 19, Bari
The suite was fantastic. It was comfortable and cozy. It was nice having a couch to sit back and relax after a long day. Roberto the host will assist with everything if you need, but is not overbearing. He makes a wonderful breakfast that you can eat in the comfort of your room.
The location is perfect if you want to explore Bari. The gelato stand around the corner was some of the best i ever had. Also make sure to walk the town at night. Bari is an underated town. It has fantastic food and iteresting things to see.
The owner is super nice and accommodating.
He provided us with snacks and prosecco.
Bar and restaurant recommendations.
Perfectly adequate for one night. He can really keep up with the hotel next door. super clean.
Be happy about a microwave.
I have the retro one too! what do you expect from a small apartment in Bari?! a luxury kitchen?!
Yes, the high heels lady also goes on vacation in Germany. She sounds the same then.
I could also sleep peacefully at night.
The room was super clean and luxuriously furnished. The bed was super comfortable with high quality sheets. The bathroom was modern and super clean and had high quality shower gel, conditioner and shampoo. Some of the rooms have a cute small balcony and the building is located in the heart of the old town in Bari. The hotel is 3 minutes away from the San Barisano Church, where taxis will stop you or take you from.
Great location in the old town, close to the center. If you wanna spend more time on the beach then it’s a bit far, but you can rent a scooter or take a bus. The room was lovely and comfortable. Air conditioning is so important in Bari and it worked well. Also Antonio always communicated with us super fast and was very welcoming. We really recommend this place! And we even had a balcony.
The location is a bit outside of Bari, but it’s perfect. I would not want to stay closer to the center, it’s too chaotic. It has it’s own parking, which is a luxury in Bari and I was really happy about this. The hostess is lovely and very helpful with tips of what to visit around Bari. Our room was newly furnished and a great size. Look no further, it’s the place to stay in Bari!
The location was great - super close to the airport. I really appreciated the free transfer to/from the airport. Communication was easy with quick responses. The property itself was really clean and modern - it exceeded my expectations for an 'airport hotel'. The value was also fantastic. I'd recommend to anyone needing a hotel right near the Bari airport.
The host, Donatello was extremely kind and helpful. he was there for any single question we had or anything we need. The room was spotless, clean and fully equipped with everything you need! the breakfast was one of the best we had in all the hotels we stayed at, every single detail made our experience unique! thank you Donatello!
Location very centric, next to the train station. 5-10 mins you could go everywhere in Bari center. Lot of supermarket, bar, restaurante around. Staffs very kind, everyday prepare nice breakfast to the clientes. Room very confortable and clean. The mattress is even better than 4-5 star hotel according to my experience.
The best ever! Very clean and spacious. Comfortable and what is best of all is the location. It is in the heart of city and in a area full of coffees, restaurants and shops. I was so happy I found it & for sure I will come here always when I visit Bari. Do not hesitate in booking it ☺️
All new, very nice design, fresh towels and room clean daily. Like a 5 star hotel room! 2 mins walk to train station and 10 mins to city center (crossing under the rail station). Italian breakfast, with top coffee and croissant! Owner very nice and friendly!
Breakfast was ok, Location perfect - that Said its NOT a 5 star hotel - and Booking.com should advertise it as one 4 stars at best - furniture I'm the rooms are more than 20 yrs old -
The restaurant is NOT fine dining - check the Wine menu 😪
This flat is absolutely exceptional. Located very close to the city centre, it offers a comfortable and luxurious stay in Bari. The owner even put a very expensive shower kit with everything included, worthy of a 5 star hotel.
The staff was very polite, the room was nice, very clean and comfortable. And the location of the hotel was excellent, very close to Bari Vecchia and to the train station.
We had a great stay in Bari at the Nicolaus Hotel. Very good service and some excellent breakfast too. Stayed for 4 nights, travelled with family (husband and a kid).
