Gennadi is an adorable small village featuring a handful of delightful restaurants, a bakery, and a small grocery store. It enjoys a convenient location, with short driving distances to neighboring villages and cities – just 10 minutes to Kiotari and 30 minutes to Lindos. The journey to Rhodes Old Town takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car. If you prefer tranquil, less touristy destinations, Gennadi is an excellent choice.

Best beaches in the whole of Rhodes.
Best beaches in the whole of Rhodes. Since the winds are usually blowing from north/west and Gennadi is situated on the southeast coast the place is less windy. The beach is really long and has pebbles, so you don't get sand everywhere.
There is a really nice beach front bar/restaurant called Sposa del Sol. Their signature drink Sposa del Sol is super good. They have beach front sunbeds and sofas for their clients.
Along the beach there is also another really nice restaurant Klimis, with nice homemade food. Best fried vegetables are found here.
In the village of Gennadi there are a lot of very good restaurants. At least Mama and Zorbas have superb Greek traditional foods. I am sure there are many more good ones also, we just did not have time to visit them all.
Gennadi is cheaper and more genuine than the old town of Rhodes and Lindos, and it is a more tranquil place.
One of the nicest places that we have visited in Greece.
It is recommended to rent a car - it will give you so much more freedom and easy. But there is also a bus.

A large village / small town with a good selection of bars, restaurants, a green grocer, excellent bakery, and reasonable supermarket. South of here, things become increasingly spartan, whilst northwards they are increasingly touristy, so strikes a good balance between practicality and traditional feel.
Set back about 250m from the beach, with some very nice properties available to rent, some with pools.
Has a good local feel to it, with plenty of local people around, not just tourists.
Food prices generally good - a large, whole, grilled fish for 18 euros at Zorba's Tavern, for example, or a very fat gyros with pork for 3 euros at Bessa's Corner. Some restaurants push Italian pizza and pasta as well as Greek traditions, with one or two feeling more traditional (e.g. goat stew or excellent moussaka at Sergio's Old Times). Some offer take out and delivery service too if you are outside the village (e.g. Bessa's Corner can deliver all sorts of grills and gyros).
At the back of the village is a small church, with a pleasant walk through a green way to the graveyard and valley behind.
Bus stop by the pharmacy on the main road, with easy access to Lindos (2.70 one way), Rhodes (7.20 one way) and other places. Car and scooter hire available in the village itself too.

We love Gennadi. It has some lovely restuarants .
We love Gennadi. It has some lovely restuarants . Fully recommend going to Mammas but you need to book as gets very busy, food is great. The town itself is very pretty and at night they close down the main street and all the restaurants bring their tables out. Greek dance happens at night in the street also. Gennadi has everything you need a small supermarket, bakery, greengrocers and is very close to the beach. The beach is very pebbley so take some beach shoes with you

Gennadi is a lively little place and as yet not over developed. The village is friendly, charming and has everything you need for a week self catering.
Highly recommend restaurants in Gennadi - Mana’s Kitchen and Zorbas. For ice cream and sweet treats go to the South Bakery.
I’d recommend visiting both Rhodes Town and Lindos (the bus stop is 1 minute from the property).
The beach is shingle and pebbles. It is a wide ‘bay’ but we preferred to use our pool rather than go to the beach.

Gennadi is a lovely village to visit.
Gennadi is a lovely village to visit. Tourists are well catered for but the village is not overly touristy which is a plus. There is a good, cheap bus service to Lindos and Rhodes Town although this is much slower than driving. Ginnardi has a gorgeous beach which is very quiet but with some tavernas, a beach bar and sun loungers available. It exceeded my expectations
A perfect resort for both families and couples.
The hotel area spreads out and feels spacious. Beautiful quiet beach. The hotel and room facilities are very good and everything is well maintained and very clean.
Many options for dining and the private restaurants are significantly better (booking in advance is recommended).
Above all, all the Hotel staff (George and the other reception staff, bar, restaurant and maids) are kind, welcoming
and helpful with any request.
We will definitely return.
A quiet location very close to the sea but within easy walk of Gennadi village.
Lovely private pool and gardens.
Property is equipped to a high standard. Large SMART TV and Aircon in bedrooms and lounge.
It was helpful to already have basics such as coffee, tea, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and water. Especially liked the beer, melon and Nutella as a welcome gift. A nice touch.
Friendly hosts, with excellent communication and happy to answer any questions.
Except for the location, the hotel was excellent and great value for money.
I can't speak highly enough of the staff, particularly the 2 receptionists who went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant experience.
The room rate included breakfast and evening meal - exceptional value for money and both very good.
Lovely, large pool with plenty of sunbeds.
The nearby town is worth a visit. Shame about the beach.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
The villa is beautiful and has everything you need. The outside space is amazing. Pool is a good size, clean and is beautifully lit at night. Villa is close to the beach with beautiful clear sea which we almost had to ourselves. John was very friendly and exceptional helpful especially during wild fires in Rhodes. He kept us informed about the situation and was with us all the time to provide support. We can't thank him enough.
We had great time at Tramonto Blue. The villa was as amazing as the photos show and even better. It was clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped We enjoyed the garden, while the view to the sea was fantastic. A small path from the house led us to the beach. Christos, the host was very helpful and always available to answer our questions. The place is highly recommended.
Staff of Panorama Hotel was polite and very helpful, they served us with the smile in everything we needed. Room was, spotless, elegant and spacious. Had a very nice decoration, amenities inside such like a/c, double bed, TV, mini fridge, clean white linens and fresh towels at the super luxury bathroom. New furniture and private balcony with ocean view. Worth a visit!
Very nice and helpful hosts, a very warm meeting, nice needed gifts, good condition of the facility, a beautiful well-kept garden, local zoo - local cats and lizards)), fabulous peace and quiet, excellent contact with the owner. Clean beach, easy access to the sea. We support all previous opinions. Thanks a lot for a great vacation.
The Villa was clean and it was perfect for our family holiday. All questions were responded to quickly. A great base for exploring Rhodes. It was a short walk to the small village of Gennadi, which had everything we needed. The children loved the pool which they used every day.
Thanks - we will visit again.
Very nice villa. All the necessary comforts. Modern, new and clean.
Very good communication with the owner.
Villa is quite far from Rhodes town but we liked the area. Nice view to area and pebble beach close by.
Good size pool which was cleaned every morning.
We highly recommend this villa!
The location is excellent, right next to the sea with private beach and sunbeds. Everything was just like in the pictures. The Villa and the swimming pool were absolutely clean.
The owner was extremely helpful.
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.
Spacious rooms, pretty descent food, clean water on the beach. The staff do their best, but they seem to be against a huge corporate machine and it shows. Cool water slides and Swim up rooms, especially for kids.
I am pleased with the help and attention presented by the host.
I am impressed with the high standard of the facility and good location.
The added value of Gennadi Harmony Suites was the comfort of privacy
Great location near to the beach, beautifull pool and house with all necessary equipment. We enjoyed the welcome box with some food. Two terraces - we allways find a shade to relax in.
Breakfast was excellent. Location is good. Gennadi is a nice little village. 25 min. buy car there is a very famous place for Wind and Kitesurfing Prasonisi.
Beautiful quiet location and lots of shaded areas to escape the sun at its strongest. A 10 minute stroll to the beach with clear water and gentle waves.
