The manager Philippa does a great job all by herself cleaning and everything else. The hostel is very clean with a new kitchen, tv, patio and a short walk to the beach. Rooms are newly remodeled and new beds.

Great location, close to the beautiful city of Angra. The place was clean, they had parking slots in front of the building and our host was very nice and helpful, she recommended us several places to eat good local food.

I loved my stay at Casa do tí Marrão. I booked literally in such short notice, and the host was so kind to make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I was blessed with the most amazing cheese made by the host. Although it was just for one night, it was the perfect place to rest and rid an oncoming migraine. I slept so good and felt at home. The apartment was very clean, quiant, and spacious. It was a nice 20 mins walk to the airport, although I never heard a plane. Very quiet and peaceful location. wish I had more time there. I do hope to stay again if available.
