This place seems to have become quite touristic.
This place seems to have become quite touristic. The one day tour is a sham. Long time traveling with some quick stops to take a quick picture. The cave is just walking in line to see a few bats. The jungle tour is just a hike though the jungle up a creek. All the animals have left here as probably 1000 people crush this path every day. I guess if you want to see some raw nature you have to hire a private guide for more days and go deeper and wait until all the day trippers have left.

A lovely spot, staff was excellent.
A lovely spot, staff was excellent. Meals were very reasonable and VERY fresh ingredients, lots of options. Lots of sitting areas, a pool and a “sky walk” constructed outside the main entrance for guests.

The one day lake tour at the national park was amazing.
The one day lake tour at the national park was amazing. Going with a boat to go lunch, swim and walk. The walk was great. You have to wear closed shoes because you are going to get really wet until your belly button. The town khao sok was not much. It was 1 street. But it was cozy. The khao sok homestay resort is a place I would not recommend. It was also very far from the town

Khao Sok is very much worth a visit and is a unique experience compared to other places in Thailand. It is also very family-friendly and attracts more relaxed tourists who enjoy nature and outdoor activities.

Khao Sok is a beautiful national park with lush rainforest, towering limestone formations seen nearby rivers and at Cheow Lan lake and a variety of wildlife. It is a stunning place to visit with lots of nature and activities to do - we went canoeing along a river for a couple of hours and spotted birds, tree frogs, giant lizards and bee hives up on the limestone mountains. Cheow Lan lake is a must - we planned a day trip with Khao Sok private tours, and really enjoyed the longboat ride exploring the lake spotting monkeys and elephants on the shore. We hiked in the jungle and saw many birds and lizards and heard gibbons up in the trees. Swimming in the lake was such a memorable experience in this beautiful and peaceful setting - like soaking in a warm bath! The mekong catfish in the lake (and there are many!) don't come near you when you swim. We stopped off at Panvaree and got to kayak too, which was great fun. The lunch there was outstanding and you can enjoy a quiet meal with beautiful views from the balcony.

We loved our stay at Khao Sok Morning Mist Resort.
The resort is beautiful, set in the most amazing rainforest. Our room was super clean and comfy with a lovely deck looking onto the river. The staff were really friendly and we booked a day and night safari into the national park.. it was absolutely fantastic and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. He cooked us one of our favourite meals we have had in Thailand. What an experience! Our only disappointment is that we couldn't stay longer but we hope to visit again one day.
The place is located into the jungle and a part of it is part of the Khao Sok National Park, The guys who run it are very cool and helpful with everything we needed. They even arranged an amazing full day trip to khao sok national park’s lake which is a must and requires by law to have a guide with you and also our transportation from there to Phuket in very good prices. We’d recommend this to anyone wants to experience Thailand’s wild nature at a magical place. Thank you guys!!
Stayed here one night for a tour of the national park that was organised by another hotel. However, the hotel does arrange tours which I regret not booking directly. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. The bungalows are clean. They provide a lot of bottles of water which is appreciated. They offer free breakfast but we did not get a chance to try it. The name of the hotel is exactly what it is, a jungle bungalow. Great value for money.
The tree top hotel is the closest to the National Park entrance and it's walking route for jungle treks. It's situated next to the river and most rooms have a great view. There's a refreshing pool and helpful staff. Khao Sok isn't that big, with Tree top river hotel you are at the end of the main street filled with restaurants/bars.
At some point some monkeys came passing by through the resort, a fun experience.
It was the best resort during our 3-week tour of Thailand. The resort is brand new and adjacent to Khao Sok National Park. The staff was professional and helpful. They solved everything with a smile. Breakfast was very varied with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We also tried guided tours in the national park and bamboo rafting. Great experience. We will definitely be back one day.
Very nice stay. The staff was great, especially Mr. Double AA. They can arrange a variety of day tours, I did the one day Khao Sok NP tour and it was great. Breakfast was good with adequate variety. Also, it’s a short walk to main drag with all the restaurant choices. It did rain a lot but they provide umbrellas outside your bungalow which was convenient.
Private and cosy cottages in the middle of the forest. Not far from Khao Sok and they even offer free shuttle to there.
The staff is so nice and friendly, they helped us to arrange everything from transport to activities.
I recommend booking lake tour from the cottages. The guide was funny and the accommodation on the lake was very pretty and comfortable.
Probably the Best hostel in khao sok
In terms of facilities, location , and service
The girl in the reception had spoken English fluently and helped us with every little thing !
The shower in the dorm is really big and comfy.
We took the 2 nights jungle trip which also was amazing via the hostel
The harden with a lot of flowers and fruit trees. this was also taken care with a lot of passion.
Friendly host Mister Kong & wife.
Walking distance of the walking street & Khao Sok National park.
Tours available.
There is a Mosquito net & a fan.
No WIFI in the houses. This is perfect!
The staff were great for organizing a Khao Sok tour! They even let me borrow water shoes for no charge! They can also hold onto your luggage while you do an overnight tour. It was raining when I got there and they also let me borrow an umbrella to explore the little village.
The Silver Cliff which is the namesake of this hotel is quite lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful in arranging taxis and an overnight tour to the lake. The accommodations were clean, the beds comfortable, and walking paths were well lit.
Sold stop off for the Khao Sok national park tour.
Lovely hosts and decent private rooms with aircon
Bathrooms were great and they offer the ability to book the tours from the hostel
We were sick from koh phi phi and host was very helpful
the woman who runs this hotel makes a 10/10

clean toilets and showers, spacious room with lockers
what more could you ask for for Khao Sok!
Such a jewel in the nature of Khao Sok . Love everything about it. The service was also very good with staff showing positive attitude and smile all the time. The only place I would stay when in Khao Sok
beautiful spot, really close to the national park (which was the reason we were there). we did a tour through the hotel to see the Khao Sok Cheow Lan Lake and enter the Coral Cave and it was excellent.
Atmosphere was amazing! Monkeys on your balcony, nestled right amongst the trees. Food was delicious and staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here on your trip to Khao Sok
Great stay in Khao Sok! The location is perfect! 5 minutes to the National Park entrance and village. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. They can help you book all Khao Sok adventures!
Rooms were spacious. We booked our stay in the floating bungalows in Khao Sok National park through the hotel. They were extremely helpful and the tour was amazing
The overnight tour I booked to Khao Sok was great. The owner - not the wife - was also nice. Everything else, including the owner’s wife, was terrible.
