I enjoyed taking up the offer of an upgrade from the MD and the views from the Floating Villa were breathtaking.
The Staff was great, polite, kind and friendly, MD was very helpful and friendly. I loved the views and the windows all around were great to see the changing views at all times.

Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Recommend some level of walking fitness before going - more than 1 500 uphill steps during the day resulted in delayed onset muscle soreness for a couple of days.
Take a GoPro for the waterfalls.
Water temple also worth visiting.

Excellent weather, albeit a bit chilly even in July. Greenery all around. Winding roads (not recommended to roam these roads by car if you get car sick easily). Plenty of waterfalls, though all of them require a bit of a trek. Very few tourists compared to southern part of the island.

For nature lovers that love to explore - tonnes of waterfalls in the area including the breathtaking Sekumpul Waterfall and the Lemukih Natural Water Slide were completely epic! The roads are decent to ride a scooter around and you get to see way more! On our next trip to Bali, we have already noted that Munduk is 1 of the places we would return to.

A wonderful place for nature lovers.
A wonderful place for nature lovers. A totally different side to bali, more authentic in a way. Waterfalls, lakes, mountains amd temples. A quaint little village. Absolutely worth seeing. Only issue is it's hard to get around, as you areore reliant on a local driver.

Truely a hidden gem in Bali.
Truely a hidden gem in Bali. There are many beautiful waterfalls to visit, they can be done with a guide or without (do your research though!). Having a scooter would be handy but not mandatory, I was able to walk from my homestay. It's cooler, less humid and very quiet so it's a nice change from the other parts of Bali. The locals are also some of the friendliest people you will meet!
Tranquil paradise in the heart of nature - De Pardis gets a top recommendation from us! From the beginning the staff were helpful and attentive to our needs. The room is large and clean, and we made good use of the TV (connects to Netflix and YouTube!) Loved the meals we had here, breakfast, lunch and dinner available. The people here really made our stay though, they were wonderful, kind, and genuine souls. We had such a good yarn with them and can only hope we have the opportunity to return to Munduk and stay here again!
1. The hospitality. Stuffs are excellent to meet your requirements.
2. The cleanliness. The whole resort is perfectly cleaned.
3. The room. Room and bath room both are good. Love their bathroom.
4. The location. It's not in heart of the Munduk. You have to travel 10-15 mins by your car. But once you reach you will get a excellent beauty. It's just peace and calm environment.
5. They have excellent kitchen. You will get Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food quality and taste is good (though it differs). Good break fast.
The location was absolutely gorgeous! The hotel’s restaurant looks out directly on a beautiful approx 70-ft waterfall, and I also had an excellent view of it from my room’s balcony and even from my shower. You can easily walk down to the base of the waterfall, and even swim down there. The staff were extremely nice, and the guide who works there took me hiking to five waterfalls, and on the back of a motor scooter all over the gorgeous countryside! This hotel is a nature-lover’s dream! Also amazingly affordable!
It's my first time staying in Munduk, North Bali. The location is perfect. As far as the eye can see there are rows of mountains and hills.
Affordable price and the view is priceless. Comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly and helpfull staff. Breakfast was freshly made and yes you get breakfast with such an affordables price.
Thank you Munduk Sena for making my short getaway so memorable, definitely will recommend to our friends and family. Can't wait to be back! :)
Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and two daughters. We loved every minute. Beautiful staff, location, rooms, and an amazing infinity pool looking over the rice paddies. We did their Truck to Nowhere tour and found it a wonderful way to see the local village. We took a dip in a beautiful waterfall and had it all to ourselves. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel and would love to return for a longer stay. Thanks Lesong!!!
Gumi Ayu truly exceeded all of our expectations! It is a hidden gem in Munduk and very affordable with great food options. The hotel was tucked away in the valley with different cabins having a view of the waterfalls. We loved the hospitality of the staff, especially Nita’s who made our stay memorable. We had a balinese massage in the spa there which was one of the best we had in Bali. Would recommend this ecohotel to everyone.
This Hostel is cute and small amidst the Mountains and nature. All Munduk attractions are closer to this place to go from.
The food at the cafe is amazing. The price that they are charging is more comparatively but the quantity that they give you is worth the price .
Also, when I left the owner was very sweet and kind enough to give me home made banana chips, which I think is a very kind gesture 😀
Amazing! The whole concept of the hotel is perfect. The facilities including the plantations, dining areas, pools, etc were excellent. We had the jungle suit me with a private pool and hot tub and it was heaven! We even had a private butler
The sunsets on the property were the best I’ve ever seen looking over the infinity pool and the mountains.
They had activities you could do all day as well
I loved everything about this beautiful hotel. But the road there is sometimes very dangerous at the turn and if you are a beginning traveler, please use the services of experienced drivers to get to that wonderful region. I would like to express my great gratitude to the entire staff for the courtesy, friendliness and cleanliness in the rooms. We will be glad to visit you again!
Exactly what we were looking for.
It’s far away from busy south and right in middle of rice fields and village.
Rooms were clean and well maintained.
Good food and excellent staff. Nice pool.
Good value for money. If we had not pre booked the next hotels we would have extended the stay.
Will love to come back and stay again.
The view is amazing, the restaurant is great, the infinity pool is lovely. The hotel exceeded our expectations as it was not just a homestay, but a collection of tree houses. The view from our window was superb.
The location was perfect for exploring Munduk and is placed at the start of the waterfall walk! The staff were very kind and friendly! They organised a taxi for us and the food was also delicious!
A great escape with an amazing view of Munduk. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and despite some Southeast Asian hospitality mistakes, they took the necessary ownership to make it work for us.
Everything was great, very authentic and nice hotel with amazing ocean and jungle view, staff is very friendly and professional, big clean rooms. i will absolutely be back to this beautiful place
Absolutely exceptional hotel: perfect breakfast, dinners with live music, excellent view everywhere and caring staff. There were many pleasant surprises during our stay that makes it wonderful.
Great value for the price.
The view from the patio is amazing.
The food is awesome. Try the fried rice.
The host is lovely. Ask her about best value hotel in lovina beach..Beach...
The view is spectacular, the best view I have ever seen from my hotel room. 10/10. Good and tasty breakfasts. Perfect location - waterfall is in the hiking distance, 40 min.
The view from the room was stunning. I recommend it especially for this. Many warung close by serving amazing food. Better rent a scooter to go around beautiful Munduk.
