We stayed 5 nights which was probably enough time. ISLAND IS BUSY but I preferred to Bali which is now really touristy. If I lived in Australia (we are UK) I would definitely come again to get some amazing weather. It was a long way for us so I don't think we'd return. Great for young people. Now we are a bit older we do prefer quieter places. It reminded us a bit of Mykonos in Greece (Sandy Bay - chilled vibe/good food/sunsets). The people are so lovely but very poor. We loved our adventure & very glad we came but we wouldn't return due to how busy it was x

This island is one of our favourite spots to visit in Bali.
This island is one of our favourite spots to visit in Bali. We just love the islands laidback living style vibe and hospitality. We’ve scootered all around the island and over the yellow suspension bridge to chenigan and the little market stalls. Visit Mangrove beach - its old school village vibe is cool and if you get to snorkel around the cliff edges of Nusa Penida, it’s teaming with tropical fish and coral - must see. Surf also good at shipwrecks. Check out the seaweed farming too.

Lembongan is relaxing. Devil's Tear is really great. Dhipa's Warung near there is good affordable food. Renting a motorbike is relatively easy but many of them do not come with helmets, and most of the people you see driving do not wear them. Some of the roads are really bad quality.

These are lovely spacious villas with a separate sitting room and a big comfy king bed. We stayed here in 2017 for a few nights and came back for a week this time. The staff are extremely friendly and so helpful. We will stay again.
