Also a great place to book trips to maya bay and rest of the islands where you can go snorkeling to see sharks and glowing plankton at night. An amazing experience I’ll never forget!

Phi Phi Don is THE place to be if you want to party, shop until you drop & eat good! As soon as you hop off the ferry its music and the beautiful chaos begins. There are just winding rows packed with local stalls selling everything from flip flops to handmade jewellery, and you are not short of places to eat - including your selection of Western options, as well as traditional Thai street food. We had breakfast at 'Charlie's Kitchen' and oh my goodness - the best iced coffees, açai bowls and goodness - a MUST try! We did a boat trip from the pier which took us to 7 different places including Monkey Beach & Maya Bay, and even stopped for snorkelling with sharks & sunset snorkelling with glowing plankton!!! You can book these at the stands that you see everywhere, especially by the pier, or we booked via GetYourGuide. Just make sure you 1000% visit Maya Bay! We also attended a boat party, run by Blanco Beach Bar Hostel - this was GREAT fun and not to be missed! They also have various activities here too, so definitely check it out on your visit!

The island is a tropical paradise, as long as you can put up with the beach music late at night on the far end (towards the tsunami shelter). Lots of places to eat, lots of variety and Ton Sai village is flat so easily walked.

We chose a resort here for its comfort and pool because it is horrendously hot and when we arrived we read a sign that says that the pool is bad and that you should contact your agent if you want to cancel... we always lost clients because no one would refund us for that.
The port is ugly and in general a very bad smell everywhere. many boats, too many, contaminating as much as possible. There is not a shadow around or a seat to wait.

Just a party Mekka.
Just a party Mekka. For one night it’s ok but honestly if you are not into mass tourism and drunk and drugged teenagers, fire shows and terrible music I definitely wouldn’t recommend this island for more then a day trip and preferably away from the noise.

I don't think you could find a better hotel on the island, we was lucky enough to have a room that we could walk straight out onto the pool or if you wished walk another 30m to the beach. Absolutely stunning views. This hotel is classed as only 3 stars, why I can't understand because while I was on phi phi I looked at other hotels that were 4**** and they didn't come close. I would 100% recommend it and I'm already looking at staying here again.
Oh by the way phi phi islands is the closest I've ever been to paradise
We had a beautiful stay in the Blu Monkey Hotel. An excellent receptionist and a fantastic location to explore the Phi Phi islands. Superb value for money and clean facilities. You won’t go wrong with a stay there. The location allows for easy access to the famed viewpoints and the beach where you’ll find the famed nightlife. There is an active construction site however it didn’t affect our stay. For you shopping convenience a 7/11 is a minutes walk away.
Beach in front of the hotel and all the beaches I have visited in the Island quite qgood with facilities.
Large number of long tail boats and speed boats, but swimming areas fenced off to keep them off.
The room was ok but rather small. Cleaning and towel change only oncecduring my one week stay.
Location was good. Easy walk to the "Commercial Centre", and ships restaurants and bars all around.
Location is beautiful in front of beach, in quite area, staff are friendly and helpful, free transfer from Pier, 100 Bhat per person if you want to go to center after check in, restaurant is good for breakfast/lunch/dinner, the hotel is suitable fir people who want to live in beach surrounding by nature. I really enjoy my short trip in Phi Phi islands.
Thank you very much.
The view was amazing. Hotel was very clean and the staff were very kind and helpful. They got our luggages from the pier and helped us sending them back to the pier the day we left. I saw the other reviews about the stairs being a nightmare but for my opinion they were okay and not hard to climb. When we left they gave us postcards from Phi Phi Islands, it was lovely.
I'd say it's more of a 2 star bungalow hotel rather than a resort. It's a quiet location at the end of the main beach, about a 15min walk into the town so you get a bit of both worlds, nature and things to do. The air-con bungalows have a nice sea view through the trees. You can also walk to Long Beach or take a taxi boat to other parts of the islands. Friendly staff.
The hotel facilities were nice. The pool area was good, the small massage place on the beach was really nice, and the on-the-beach restaurant was good and had one of the islands best views over the sea.
The staff was kind, and the location was great.
Housekeeping brought bottled water daily, and if that was not enough, there was a minimart on the grounds.
the bungalow was private and close to the beach, the restaurant and bar were stellar, the front desk and support staff fantastic, efficient and super friendly. short boat trips to other islands. from the moment we stepped off the boat we didn’t have to worry about our luggage. the employee from the hotel handled it all the way to the room.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was brilliant from the start. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The best location on the island as it is right near the pier but also not right in the centre it was tucked away in the corner with a gorgeous private beach. We will definitely stay here if we returned to Koh Phi Phi.
I liked the location and thought it had a lot of potential. I think the convenience to the ferry made taking carry on luggage easy. There were a lot of restaurants near by including a great breakfast spot that opened earlier than most. I liked that the hotel provided beach towels and some toiletries.
Very clean room and helpful hosts. Someone at the pier to pick us up and walk us to the hotel with our bags. Booked us on to the boat tour around the island as soon as we got there. Cheap and efficient laundry service. Would stay again next time in Phi Phi.
Breakfast was pretty nice, good selection of food and really nice fresh fruits. Pretty central location, easy to reach other parts of the island and there are some pretty nice restaurants right next to the hotel.
nice hotel, nice village behind were you can have massage, grab smithing to eat and drink by half price from the hotels restaurants.
phi phi is beautiful.
highly recommend to do four or seven islands day trip!
Only reachable by boat. After 8 pm, could not get back to hotel. Had to rent another hotel in town. Would not give refund for second night. Steps up from the beach were a real challenge for older person.
Perfect location with a small private beach and a short walk to the downtown. Hotel staff was able to help coordinate booking of activities around the island during the day. Would definitely come back!
I loved everything about staying in phi phi island it was the best part of my trip but I wish the greeting staff was there waiting for me at the dock with a hotel sign like everyone else’s hotel was 😂
