OK Divers Resort & Spa, hotel in Padangbai

Boasting beachfront accommodations and a sizable outdoor pool, OK Divers Resort & Spa is located in Padangbai.

We loved the comfort and the cool of the room. The food was amazing—we had our lunches, breakfast and dinner there. We were able to communicate with the hotel days prior to our arrival and our pre-arrival. We arrived early and still they had the room ready and booked us in. The Staff and Reception were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We highly recommend the resort.

This tiny hotel was amazing! Asyou look at the advertisement picture, the pool is as is. Surprise!Cooler than the ocean, lightly chlorinated, refreshing... Crystal clear. We booked two rooms. The price was so great. These were sparkling clean 🫧 Linen & pillows & they were soft, snuggly & smelling of heaven. So comfy, I wanted to stay in 🛏️. Great Wi-Fi, a desk next to the front windows with shutters that open to let the salty smelling air flow in. ⛵ Sea breeze from across the street made aircon unnecessary. A power outlet, close enough that my extension could reach to the patio in front of my front door. My laptop and phone were always charged. On the patio was a round wooden table/two wooden Captain chairs. Cozy!!! Here we played UNO in the evening by 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️, having a couple of Bingtangs with homemade munchies from a market around the corner after dinner. Did I tell you about the breakfast? 5 choices. One a traditional Indonesian breakfast. My one friend had banana pancakes and I had the egg toast sandwich that basically had everything on it like it was a burger.Delicious, wait staff super, timely & didn't keep coming back to bug us. Traditional Bali coffee w/ real milk. Later, I took a stroll across the street & beachcombed collecting seashells, 🪜 lifeguard platform & played my 🎸 while watching the shooting 🌠 For real!!!

We had never heard of PadangBai and only visited to catch the ferry to Nusa Lebongan. Pleasantly surprised to find this small town offering good restaurants, live music (Omani Omang), good diving (Absolute Dive), and pretty scenery. The negative is the amount of plastic garbage in the sea and on the beaches. I don’t know if this is common to the region, but I strongly recommend the communities make a concerted effort to clean this up. The plastic garbage was appalling and detracted from the ambience.

The pier wasn't as bad as expected although the condition could be improved considering it's very busy and frequented by many tourists every day! Be careful if porter scam as someone will approach you asking to help and will charge you in the end for the service. If you need an assistance, do agree in advance on the fee. Do note that a harbor tax is compulsory at IDR10,000 per person.

We stayed at Padangbai to catch the fast boat to Gili .

We stayed at Padangbai to catch the fast boat to Gili . We got up early as the drive in showed us a very pretty part of Bali we have never seen. This is a very cute little fishing village and gateway to Lombok and all it's Islands. The locals are very friendly and honest. My husband left his mobile phone in the taxi and the hotel called the taxi driver who had it back in 5 minutes (he was thrilled at the 100,000 Rp roughly $10 AUD tip) There was a good selection of restaurants on the waterfront offering lovely fresh Indonesian and Western food we loved the Ikan Bakkat (fish in banana leaves) spicy and delicious. The Cocktails did not disappoint either and my husband welcomed a few cleansing Bintang Beers.

There are afew nice places to eat along the front we stayed 1 afternoon and night before travelling to the gills and that’s enough nothing to see here really. Good food tho in both restaurants on the front we picked and there was also plenty of people selling snacks etc at the harbour. It is like most places in Bali, chaotic with traffic and the people especially the harbour.

There is a small port town which is ok. A few beaches nearby are a bit surprising given that its a busy port. I would never return to this port, as Sanur is more sane. You will be in line and feel like a hearded animal before you even get onto the boat, try to avoid this experience. FastboatGili changed our reservation, said it was overbooked even though had a deposit in advance. Morning of boat departure the boat company tried to rip us off...just be clear on what you paid and your balance, dont be intimidated. The boats from here are generally overpriced but not much you can do about it.

The host was very helpful and accommodating.

The host was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is still under renovations and not completed yet so very much had a sense of unfinished hotel. The shower flooded and host arranged to have it repaired immediately which was appreciated. Breakfast was basic and the pool was small. There was a small water dispenser in the room that made a gouging noise and kept us awake. Meals were not available and we had to walk into main shopping area for meals and supplies. Overall ok for a one night stopover.

Traditional Balinese house, lovely family, beautiful small children, very willing to help, hold conversations, share their lives. Good people. Room was large, big bed, comfortable, own bathroom, kitchen area and pool. This creates a feeling of connection to the family, and the challenges of illness in the old man. Wayan, the matriarch, brings breakfast free when she sees you are awake. Putu Nita is a great support ; her husband is also in tourism. This was an intimate encounter which will lead to real sharing with a longer stay.

Although, it is an old hotel for budget travelers, the room was basic, but very spacious, with a working fan (no AC, but didn't need it in Jan), clean bathroom with hot shower, I felt very comfortable staying here. For the price, this place was great, exceeded my expectations. The location is very convenient, very close to Blue Lagoon Beach, and the town center. They have a roof top dinning area for breakfast and chilling. The staff was very nice and aways smiling, felt very welcoming. ;)

The owners are a very friendly local family and are original Padang Bai residents. They were extremely helpful and took great care of us, especially when my mum was sick for several days during our stay. Staying at Celagi, while on the budget side, gave us a wonderful insight into local life and culture. The breakfast was excellent and the view from the rooftop terrace over the harbour was always something to look forward to in the mornings.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was okay but overpriced in my opinion, I'd recommend Mimba's Food Corner 15 minutes away for nicer, cheaper meals. Location was amazing, my room was 1st floor and had a big foundation with sofas & a hammock on overlooking the beach and all the scuba/snorkeling boats. On the beachfront there are loads of restaurants which are fairly cheap compared to other places in Bali.

Bloo Lagoon is a wonderful place to visit. The villas are beautiful and very spacious. The location is great and staff are super friendly. The resurarant serves great food. The pool is good for adults and kids. Padangbai is great for snorkeling and scuba diving. (Half-)Day trips to Besakih, Tenganan, and Tirta Gangga are easy to organize and also Tulamben (great for wreck diving!) is very close by.

The grandma who runs this place is absolutely delightful and is always there to lend a helping hand. This place is like a true Balinese house, where large families live together, including sons, daughters, in-laws, and grandchildren. It's just a short 10-minute walk to Bias Tugel Beach and not too far from Padang Bai Harbor, making it a convenient location if you're planning a trip to Lombok.

They must have one of the greatest views in Padangbai and I could spend hours on the porch overlooking the ocean. You can hear the ocean waves while in the room! The bedroom is very spacious and the bathroom is very modern with great hot water. 15mins walking to secret/white sand beach and plenty of restaurants. A lot of options for a big breakfast.
