Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan Island were absolute highlight of our trip. Wish we had stayed longer and will 100% book 4+ days on next trip. Beaches are stunning and there are some great little beach clubs.

This island is one of our favourite spots to visit in Bali. We just love the islands laidback living style vibe and hospitality. We’ve scootered all around the island and over the yellow suspension bridge to chenigan and the little market stalls. Visit Mangrove beach - its old school village vibe is cool and if you get to snorkel around the cliff edges of Nusa Penida, it’s teaming with tropical fish and coral - must see. Surf also good at shipwrecks. Check out the seaweed farming too.

Lembongan is relaxing. Devil's Tear is really great. Dhipa's Warung near there is good affordable food. Renting a motorbike is relatively easy but many of them do not come with helmets, and most of the people you see driving do not wear them. Some of the roads are really bad quality.

The best island to visit from Bali!
The best island to visit from Bali! It's a short 30-min fast boat ride from Sanur, and has beaches around the whole island. Not nearly as busy as Bali/Kuta, and it feels like you've ventured off the beaten path, yet has cheap places to eat and drink with all the amenities you'd want. Mushroom Bay Beach is by far the best beach to loung around on, but there are several other amazing beaches, all easy and fast to get to. You can also drive over the Yellow Bridge to the next island, which is worth doing if you see nothing else besides the Blue Lagoon.

They even took me to where I needed to go by motor cycle and arranged for a motor bike and driver for my day trip on Nusa Penida. Wayan was a very special person, he was so kind, one night he dropped me to dinner and picked me up late to bring me back to the hotel! Thank you Wayan! Rooms are modern Bali style and clean and beds are comfy. I highly recommend this hotel.
