Beautiful garden! A small paradise in the Mekong delta.. very interesting 6 hour boat tour organised by the owner and his family to give a better understanding in the region.
Free bicycles and map of the region to explore ben tre area on your own if you like or go to the ben tre market. Very welcoming atmosphere.

This is a very beautiful part of the Delta with clean canals and neighborhoods and lots of opportunities to interact with locals. We took a bike ride one day and people would say hello to us as we passed. Another day we took a tour and got to get a bigger perspective on life here. One of the most enjoyable trips we've had and the best of this 2-week vacation!

If you want to be in the heart of the Mekong Delta - better go to Can Tho. Ben Tre just has not a lot to offer. The only thing you can visit is the night market, but it is not special. Only cheap tourist stuff that you will find on every other market in Vietnam

Ben Tre/My Tho are nice if you are interested in discovering the different islands around: they all have their own speciality: honey, coconut, etc. The boat tour is lovely especially if you decide to go for a private one. The city has a beautiful pagoda that is worth visiting.

We were only at the homestay and on a boattrip one afternoon. Did’nt go to the city of Ben Tre. A couple of hours on a bicykletrip would definetly have been interresting, but with three kids, we found it too difficult.

I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay.
I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay. The family let me borrow a bike, showed me where to cycle to in the area, arranged a boat trip on the river, arranged a bus ticket for my next destination. Everything was excellent and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone who wants to stay with an amazing family. Thank you for having me!
It is located about 3 km away from the Ben Tre center - a short bicycle ride to the center. Thus, you can experience both city and rural life styles easily. Access from Ho Chi Minh City is a piece of cake if you use FUTA bus. The company offers a free shuttle bus service to this property from the Ben Tre bus station. Area around this property was very good for a bicycle ride. Luckily, there were many bicycles available and they were free. During my stay, I went to so many places by bicycle and met many local people. It was every wonderful.
We loved almost everything about this place. The beautiful location just along the Mekong River, food and staffers...all were incredibly fantastic far beyond my expectation. Operated by Mr. Thai and his family and good friends, this inn produces such comfortable atmoshere, just like Mr. Thai says "My home is your home, too". Mr. Thai's food is magically tasty and unbelievabley cheap! Even my 2 children who usually try to avoid Vietnamese food devoured all the food in happy excitement. We would definitely want to come back!
This homestay is exactly what you want after the chaos of HCMC - calm, quiet, clean, and perfectly managed. The family are delightful, professional and helpful. The food has great variety (even for vegetarians) and is superb. The location is rural enough to feel far from the city, but close enough to Ben Tre town to visit. Bicycles are available for free, and are an easy way to explore the labyrinth of canals and coconut plantations. Very, very nice.
If you want to experience few days in a homestay and get to know the authentic life in the Mekong delta that’s the place! The food was the best I had in Vietnam, the boat tour was incredible and so different from all the touristy tours you would do around Vietnam. I simply cannot recommend this place more. You can really feel all the effort and love Amy and her family give everyday to their guests. Com on!
it was in an amazing location off the touristy areas, surrounded by authentic life and nature. The rooms were large and very comfortable.
But the best part? The hosts. from the amazing food they cooked to taking time to show us around their neighborhood, it was everything a homestay should be. if you are in Ben Tre, definitely book a stay here—you won’t regret it!
Where to start? As a frequent traveler, one gets spoiled. Yet once in awhile you come across a true gem. Being all over Vietnam, nothing came close to the authentic location, awesome driven team, inventive cooking, great activities in and around the location. This place deserves 5/5. Simple. Best in class in Vietnam and super price quality. ,
The hotel is located in a wonderful island crowded by palm trees and colorful flowers. The owner is super nice, she speaks great english and will guide you throught the tour around the area. She helped us book the trip to Can Tho. We couldn't ask for more we really enjoied our stay at Nam Binh Homestay very much and we high reccomend it!
This place is GREAT! The rooms are super clean and nice (spend the extra money to get aircon). The property is right on the river so we spent a lot of time watching the boats go by. The hosts are all incredibly warm and kind! We got to listen and learn about Vietnamese culture. The food is INCREDIBLE! It was such a lovely time!
Incredible homestay!! Had such an amazing time there. From beautiful and comfy house to delicious food and interesting boat trip. The owners of the homestay are so kind and welcoming. They run the homestay with passion and care for detail. Staying there was one of highlights in Vietnam!
Welcoming, beautiful and peaceful. The most unique place I stayed in my trip through Vietnam. You will be welcomed as part of the family, have the space to share with the rest of the guests and enjoy the beautiful nature and amazing food. Don't miss the boat tour.
Location was great. Staff fabulous, assisted to book a tour, which by the way was the best we have done in Vietnam. Gorgeous comfortable bed with wonderful soft pillows. Beautiful clean room with everything you could want, well appointed. Lovely refreshing pool.
The owner was amazing! He made the experience very genuine. He even drove me into town to catch my bus! He knows a lot about Vietnam and wants to share it with his guests. He will even cook dinner for you if you don't want to go out.
Beautiful small hotel, in a handsome natural setting, staffed and run by the loveliest, kindest people you could imagine. We took breakfast and dinner every day, and the food was the best we experienced in Vietnam. Perfection!
Perfect green lush heaven in the Mekong delta, stylish facilities, very accommodating and service-dedicated staff. It is a must visit in Vietnam! The food (no menu, daily fresh ingredients from the market) is EXCELLENT.
Everything! Small hotel, immaculately clean, lovely gardens and pool, excellent variety of Vietnamese food, bicycles to meander around the countryside, staff who did everything possible to make your stay the best
The room was big, and super clean.
Staff was friendly and the food tasty.
The best thing was the boat tour. The guide explained many interesting things about the area and Vietnam.
The location was beautiful and right on the river. it was a little hard to get to at night (in the dark) but the hotel owner came to get us when we called.
