Breakfast buffet is very good. Our room faced the river and was above restaurant and square so a little loud. With no AC we had to have the window/door open.

We absolutely loved Villa Vie! The room was large and provided comfortable amenities (bed, chaise lounge). Our room had a castle/river view which was breathtaking! They have tons of wine to take to your room or share on the patio that overlooks the river / castle.

My family and I were eager to explore Cochen and booked an apartment for our stay. From the moment we arrived, we realized the apartment lived up to all our expectations and what was promised in the description. We were greeted with a spotlessly clean and tidy place, which made us feel comfortable right away.
What really stood out was the exceptional attention we received from the owners. They were attentive to any needs we had and made us feel at home. Finding a place like this not only met but exceeded our expectations and brought us great joy during our stay.
We are sure to return as soon as possible. This apartment has become our favorite place to stay in Cochen.

Cochem in the summer is lovely and vibrant with plenty to do and see.
We went for the Christmas market and found it very quiet and the market itself was very small. The town is a lot quieter in the winter months.

Cochem is a great place to visit.
Cochem is a great place to visit. Take the river cruise through the lock for 3 hour tour you won't regret it. The castle tour is nice thing to do. Take the bus up to castle because walking up hills is not worth the few Euros it costs for the bus. Great food choices.

All the write ups for the town seemed interesting & a location near the river. Parking was consistently a problem in most areas and restaurant food was average at best. Went to a lovely restaurant, 8k away in Belstrain & both food & wine recommended were exceptional.
Used our car for transportation. There was a local bus station & train within town limits, so car wasn't necessary here.
Seemed to have a # of stores for tourist items but not much else.Lots of cyclists

Definitely worth a visit, castle and a boat trip recommended. But beware of some....not so nice places to eat near waterfront, recommend to read the reviews, since some food is more like fastfood and not really traditional, borderline of nasty.
An excellent family run hotel within a short walk of Cochem town centre. Reception on arrival was 1st class, room was basic but clean and tidy. breakfast was excellent, plenty of fresh good quality choice. Plenty of free parking available, with our host offering for us to leave the car parked in the hotel car park well after our checking out time. An absolute delight.
The hotel undersells itself from the outside and location to a busy roundabout but don't be put off its a gem.
A nice sized room, bathroom was huge. Staff were always polite and helpful when needed. Pool was nice to relax in after a long day exploring the area.
Breakfast was good, typical continental which changed almost daily so didn't get same old. Different meats etc.
Free parking was a bonus considering its hard to park around Cochem.
As hotel is situated on outskirts of town its very quiet at night, but its a good 20/25 min walk into the town itself.
The location is excellent overlooking the river and castle. It gets the sun for most of the day and especially in the evening when the town of Cochem is in the shade. When the restaurant is open I have always found the meals to be exceptional.
As you will see below, staff shortages due to Covid 19 did affect our stay, but I love staying at this hotel and will continue to use it on my travels in the future and would continue to recommend it.
It was so much better than we had expected! It felt like a home. Next to the Mosel, very close to town, clean, comfortable, just great. Loved the honesty bar and the relaxed vibe in the garden each evening. The hosts were really so friendly. Like minded folk from various countries were there, all friendly and all so relaxed - was it the hotel that created that - we think so. Would really recommend this hotel.
The room was spacious and had a small balcony. It was spotlessly clean. The lady who ran the hotel kindly gave us an upgrade and a Christmas gift as we left. She gave us her personal space to park in and lots of leaflets and information about Cochem. Breakfast was tasty and laid out beautifully with lots to choose from. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes stroll to the centre.
Absolutely gorgeous family run hotel. Lovely views from the room back over the river to the castle. Lovely family feeling to the hotel, which is nice when traveling with a family. Shirt walk over the bridge, easy to access sights from hotel. Would definitely go back and highly recommend staying. Breakfast was amazing. Best breakfast of our trip.
Room was clean, staff was very kind. Breakfast was delicious. Location is also great with a nice view. You can have a nice walk to the city center near the river. I really enjoyed the contemporary design if the hotel, a mix of both vintage and modern. Also, they have box games, pens and papers for kids in the lobby.
Everything was as expected and as described! the owner Aleksander went out of his way to help! it is a good walk from the train station but worth it! I ate at the restaurant he suggested and it was wonderful. The key box is very smart! friendly helpful Cochem!
Very friendly, really clean and nice rooms. The breakfast was excellent. All in all one of the best hotels in Cochem. We highly recommend it. 😁It's only a 10 minute walk from the centrum of cochem. It has a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony.
Very good location on the river bank next to the bridge and with the view of Cochem castle. Restaurant which was part of the hotel served very good food. We also appreciated possibility to rent garage next to the hotel (10€ extra charge per day).
It is a smaller hotel that has been remodelled beautifully. Loved our room with 2 large windows overlooking the Mosel River. Very nice breakfast room and a covered patio. Breakfast was very good.
A very comfortable apartment in a beautiful location. It was clean and in excellent condition. The views over the Mosel were amazing. Walking into Cochem was pleasant along the river.
The location of this hotel was good and Cochem is a lovely place to visit!
Rooms were a good size and the whole hotel was very clean.
Breakfast was a great selection!
Very nice hotel in the perfect location. We were able to walk all around town. Easy to walk to the castle. The staff was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay.
