Apartment was mostly clean, mostly functional and quite close to town.
Short drive to supermarket.
TV with Netflix etc. (might have actually had to log in myself, can't remember now).
Several takeaway options nearby.

We came to helensburgh to visit hill house, we were not disappointed. We had a beautiful day and we walked from the hotel into the town, it was a nice slow paced 20 mins. Old th of seats along the way of you need them.

Helensburgh is a pretty town with plenty of good eating places and pubs. It has a very picturesque waterfront with ample seating. There is a large leisure centre with gym and a swimming pool or you can just sit in the cafe. There are public toilets on the pier. There are 3 well known supermarkets, but preferably use the local butchers, fishmongers and greengrocers. A regular bus service runs through the town, but there is also plenty of free street parking and a couple of good size carparks. Because of its location Helensburgh is a great for exploring further afield.

Helensburgh is a charming Victorian seaside town on the Firth of Clyde. It has excellent facilities for such a small place. If you don't have a car, everything you need is in the town. If you do have a car, it is a wonderful base for touring, with the beautiful hills and glens of the highlands on your doorstep.

Helensburgh is a fairly big town with a variety of shops and restaurants. There is an 'open' feel to the place, the roads are wide with big pavements. We went to the Ruby a Chinese restaurant which was very nice with friendly staff. The second night we went to the Mare Mire which had lovely pizzas and Italian food. The local people are friendly.
Helensburgh is ideally situated to explore the west of Scotland
Everything was lovely. The warm welcome and drinks in the conservatory on arrival were very much appreciated. The property had been well thought out, very clean with comfortable rooms and a beautiful garden. Anne and John were super hosts and gave great advice with regards the area and places to go. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We found a super local tapas bar for our evening meals with great food and friendly staff. Loved our stay.
We came here to celebrate our 7th Wedding Anniversary. The view is so dreamy and spectacular, a beautiful Victorian style house conveniently located 2 mins away from the upper Helensburgh train station and just 10 mins walk from the seafront ( near Helensburgh Central station). The owners are also so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing and fresh. The reviews speak for itself. We will definitely come back :)
A small family run hotel with helpful staff. Room was a reasonable size with twin beds and en-suite shower. Location is in a quiet residential area with one adjacent small convenience store and a Curry Club eatery (belonging to the Hotel) . However a 15 minute walk (5 min drive) gets you to the waterfront main street of the town (Helensburgh) with a reasonable selection of restaurants and shops.
This is the second time we have stayed here, and we will definitely be going again
The coach house is lovely with everything you need
The first stay we did some sightseeing but this time we just had a relaxing weekend and the coach house is perfect for both.
Honestly, I can't recommend the coach house and Helensburgh enough. Perfect
Liz has such a beautiful house and ensures you have everything you could ever need! She put out a continental breakfast for us in the morning and there were so many options. Could not have asked for anything else while staying there, if we are ever back in the area we will for sure be staying here!
what to say about fox cottage. It’s one of the most enjoyable places to stay. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and every need catered for down to the freshly home made bread. In walking distance to Helensburgh town centre, but the location of fox cottage is in a quiet area.
My friend booked this beautiful flat for Friday 14th-15th... I then booked it for 15th-16th. Happy to say this was no problem for host . The flat is spotless, looked newly upgraded... big sofa , lovely bathroom and kitchen , and a wee dining area . Comfy mattresses and big pillows
Excellent apartment and super host. Very good and quiet location, with easy parking and everything we needed in the accommodation. Would thoroughly recommend to friends and family, and we plan to stay again - far more homely and comfortable than a hotel stay.
location was spot on very peaceful car port by front door made it easy unload car what ever the weather and it kept it cool and dry patio area was really nice to sit and watch boats on loch
It is a lovely hotel, well decorated, large room. The breakfast was great in the dining room with the fireplace. The host is wonderful and very helpful and welcoming.
The location is beautiful, it feels remote, but has easy access to Helensburgh and Loch Lomond. Comfortable room, and large bathroom. Very friendly owners.
Spotlessly clean.
Very good location for seafront restaurants.
Nice residential area
Provided some nice touches of tea / coffee .
Very comfortable beds.
