The Stormont Hotel, hotel in Crawfordsburn

Overlooking the gardens of Stormont Castle, in the leafy suburbs of Belfast, this luxurious 4-star hotel has its own bistro restaurant.

We had dinner there which was excellent as were the staff. Everyone was very friendly and polite, room was clean and smelt fresh. We could actually open the windows which you are unable to do in a London Hotel....absolutely amazingly comfortable. If we return to Belfast we will definitely return to the Stormont. Walter's Place, hotel in Crawfordsburn

Offering a bar and city view, Walter's Place is located in Carrickfergus, 17 km from The Waterfront Hall and 18 km from Titanic Belfast.

Spacious, clean room. Had mostly everything we needed but I think for the room price individual toiletries (both shampoo and conditioner) would've been appreciated. The shower gel/shampoo combo isn't great on the hair! Next door to a pub so expected some noise but it wasn't too bad. Staff were lovely, breakfast was good. Location is great with a lovely view if you have a front-facing room. Decor was a bit chipped/tired/dated and the ripped wallpaper by the entrance door needs replacing.

Excellent location to visit the many and varied attractions in North Down area and Belfast city centre. Great places to eat. We enjoyed Crawfordsburn Inn, Coq & Bull, Jamaica Inn and Pier 36 in Donaghadee. Lovely walks and beach.

We didnt see much of the area but this place was only 15 minutes from the Titanic Exhibition. We also passed the signed entrance for the Folk and Transport museum on the way. The Old Inn is really easy to find from Belfast. Also going further along, only 10 to 15 minutes to Bangor for the seaside. The staff were pleasant and helpful...they did forget to bring my extra teabags but thats a minor issue.

Hotel is quiet in a sleepy little village but is an excellent place to stay. The food and service is unsurpassed and I would strongly recommend a stay in this hotel to experience hospitality like it should be.

The efficiency and professionalism of the staff in every aspect of the hotel. The luxury accommodation. The choice , quality and value for money of the food. Crawfordsburn is small boutique village surrounded by beautiful parkland and beach walks. Nearby is the town of Holywood with its wonderful varied eateries and many coffee shops.
