Mostly the location was great, hotel was nice for the age of the building, no real complaints. Staff was friendly especially Max. I had mentioned that I used to live in Augsburg and there was a special beer I was looking to find in one the sidewalk cafe's but the cafe had closed and I couldn't find a bar that served the beer. Max overheard me talking about that and spent a good half hour looking for bars on a local map that served my "favorite" beir. Thank you Max...

A beautiful historical city, that does not feel like the large city it is. It feels very warm and friendly. We love the original German restaurants and sitting at the Rathaus Platz (City Hall Square) watching people and enjoying food and drinks.

Augsburg is a very elegant and beautiful city.
Augsburg is a very elegant and beautiful city. The streets are lined with colorful stylish buildings, most rebuilt to the original plans following one of the heaviest allied bombings in 1944. The church of St Ulrich & Afra is a marvel, as is the Golden Hall in the Rathaus. The unique water system and the Fuggerei social housing complex also make Augsburg stand out in a historical context

Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture.
Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture. It is worth to visit Schaezlerpalais and the house of Leopold Mozart. It is very easy to walk throught the city where you can find everything you need. There is many nice restaurants, where they offer good and tasty food or small caffes for good coffee with a great cake. Our favorite restaurant was Aposto Augsburg.

A really interesting place with beautiful architecture.. but very busy. We were really interested in the small museum upstairs in St Anna’s church about Luther. It was very informative and well put together. The hotel Jakoberhof was right opposite the Feuggeri - the oldest social housing project in the world which was fascinating. We ate once at Burger meets Falafel which was just round the corner from the hotel.

I was relocated to a different hotel, further away but with an upgraded stay.
Early in the arrival day hotel staff contacted me saying that a problem had occurred and that they had to transfer my stay to the nearby Holiday Inn Express. While further away from the train station, it added breakfast to the original reservation. Everything was well taken care of, and no extra costs were charged. I just had to arrive to the new hotel and check in.
We enjoyed our stay at the Dorint hotel very much: price of the room was including breakfast, the room itself was specious end well designed, the beds very comfortable and we had a nice view from the balcony. It was not possible to park out car in the adjacent parking garage, but the alternative was also fine. All-in-all, it was one of the best hotels we stayed for that price, location and facilities.
I can’t say anything bad about this hotel – it’s clean, good, and has enough parking slots right in front of it. I especially liked the system of accessing it with a PIN code – it’s so convenient.
As a great dinner option, you can walk to Taverne Dimos, a Greek restaurant.
Wonderful elegant hotel with very impressive management, concerned for the well-being of the guests, finding time to speak to all of them.
Will definitely return when in Bavaria. Good option for easy journey or commute to Munich.
Location was good breakfast was very good the staff in the breakfast were friendly but the cleaning was not that good nice hotel I would stay again in the same hotel if they manage the rooms cleaning
Lovely hotel in a great location. It is directly opposite the train station and an easy walk into the pedestrian area of the city. The free bike available were a real bonus.
We stayed for a night, very nice hotel, very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, nice little room with games and a massage chair that we greatly enjoyed!
