Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. We felt like at home and we would go back to this hotel. Rooms are good size, basic, clean and comfortable. Very short walk to the beach.

We stayed at Nettuno for 4 nights and thanks to the extremely nice and helpful staff we enjoyed our time to the max! All the tips for trips were definitely worth it! Cleanliness was superb and everything was regularly sanitized. The pool is beautiful.

One needs some patience with finding a parking space. The noise insulation in the rooms is really bad (i.e. we heard our guests snoring in the night, and obviously everything else they did). The breakfast starts at 8am which may not work best if you rent a boat for the day as in such case you should be in the port around 8:30 am, it is a short walk but counting in that people need to also shop some groceries and food for the day on the boat it would be much better if the breakfast started earlier from 7:30 am. But we did not ask the staff, maybe there was some option to make this work. The wifi worked well when most of the other guests were out, but slowed down in peak hours (i.e. still fine for browsing but not for watching videos).
Nice breakfast, we were only missing some dark/rye bread but other than that there was everything (eggs, hams, cheese, muessli, fresh fruit, cakes). The staff were nice, polite and gave a lot of information on arrival. Nice clean pool with plenty of sunbeds around (and enough shaded space). There were free parasols availble to borrow for the beach, this was a great benefit. Great location, short walk to the supermarket, to the port / sea shore.

We didnt like the fact that our room overlooked the drying/laundry area and so did not offer privacy unless the curtains were closed.
The staff, welcome and kind consideration. the pool was great fun.

The ratio quality/price was not good, but it's the same as everywhere in Sardegna during summer
The classic room was confortable with every conveniance available but with not a lot of charm nor light at the ground floor. The checkin was very good, we received all information by the owner. There are 3 very good advantages: the location in Cala Gonone, the swimming pool at the sun till the evening and the breakfast which is generous

Too much usage of single use plastic (amenities, bathroom glassware). Room decoration is minimal.
Location in the center of town, near beach, harbor, restaurants, supermarket... The team is very friendly and helpful. Alessandro the director is a great host, he handles the hotel like it was his own.

Very bad wifi connection and the signal for mobile data was even worse. Regulation of shower temperature was annoying (too hot or too cold). The beds need to be fixed to the bottom, so they dont move when you move and also equipped with some additional pillows so you can lean on something, when you just want to chill and not sleep.
Good location, paid and sometimes free parking available near the hotel. Room is basic, clean, and comes with small terrace

Our room! Probably our mistake. It was 17 Square metres, so tiny. For people travelling with large suitcases it was a problem, there really was nowhere to put them. We had a balcony and fine for the morning but afternoon you can't sit there, way to hot. The bathroom although clean etc the shower was tiny, the smallest we had endured whilst on our long trip, perhaps we should have booked a larger room, I'm sure they have them as there were families staying. Breakfast was average, nothing special and I'm not a lover of coffee out of a auto machine like in an airport. Saying all of that we had a very comfortable stay as we spent most days on the beach. The pool is ok for a quick dip and kids but it is right outside reception, although they have tried to make it comfortable etc it was a little imposing for me.Definitely do the boat tours it was our highlight. Would we stay again, the answer is yes but do for a bigger room

Standard room had practically no view and was noisy since it was very close to the reception and elevator

The control of AC wasn't good, the breakfast spread was mediocre, very small bathrooms
We loved Mario who we met at the reception.. his introduction for 5-10 mins sets you up nicely for the stay with clear and precise instructions.. his friendly nature made us feel welcome at the hotel..the location is just amazing due to its proximity to restuarants and port where all the boat rides start

The hotel doesn't offer its own private parking so you have to look in the streets nearby.
Staff was very welcoming and helpful, gave us many tips and guidance on the city. Room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast, that we ate by the pool : ) Convenient location to the port, supermarket and restaurants.
