Vila barca is a 15 min walk to the city center and is quite close to a few natural pools! They have AC which is fabulous and helpful in the hotter months. Vila Barca exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend!

I have not stayed at a hostel in a really, really long time. But I was traveling alone and looking to meet some like-minded people. Staying at Loving Strangers was the best decision I made during my time in Pico. Stefan, Pedro and the rest of the team were welcoming, warm, friendly and OMG... so much fun! I truly had a blast during my time there, met some amazing people, and had some great discussions. I even ended up doing a night climb of Mount Pico with a few other solo travelers from the hostel. Very grateful the universe brought me to a place that took such good care of me. On a practical note, the shared bunk room was super clean, as were all the common areas. There's a supermarket 3 mins walk away, right next to store that sells almost everything (I found headlamps here). Parking was super easy and the neighbors were the sweetest.

We had a great stay at Casa do Mar on Pico. The house is just wonderful with lots of natural wood and it is directly located at the water. In the evening we could sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunset. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast every morning (bread rolls, cheese, meat, jam, joghurt, fruits, müsli and boiled eggs).

The apartment also offers free Wifi, free private parking, and facilities for disabled guests. wow wow wow, if you want to treat yourself, this is the place. the rooms are sooo cool and all you can want for! the view of the wineyard and the ocean is (almost) priceless!

It is just an amazing place! Located in a very nice place at Pico island. You will be surprised that it looks even better than on pictures. Appartments are super clean, equipped with all you need and have huge beds where you sleep like a baby. You will for sure like homemade breakfasts on the terrase with a view. We recommend to try dinner prepared by the host! It's really worth it. If we are back to Pico, we will definitely stay at this place again!

Providing a bar, My Bed in pico provides accommodations in Madalena. There's a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Debora was very friendly and kind. She organized the taxi, asked about the cleaning times and I got a free desert at the restaurant . She gave good tips for activities. The flat had a nice balcony and was very central. I had great meals at the belonging restaurant.
