Located in the old Azorean town of Horta, the newly-renovated Hotel Horta offers views of Pico Island. It features rooms with balconies, a large garden and an outdoor pool. Friendly and flexible staff. Very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was good.

The boutique 4-star Hotel do Canal is located in Horta on Faial Island. It is just 328 feet from the beach and offers panoramic views of Pico Mountain and the bay. There was fresh fruit in our room, the staff were very kind and hospitable in every aspect! As we did not like the regular filter coffee at breakfast, so we were served quality coffee with no additional change. We stayed in the hotel for just one night but would like to come back for longer.

Set in a 16th century fortress overlooking Horta Bay and Pico island, this Pousada hotel features a swimming pool and regional restaurant. Most of the air-conditioned rooms have views of the marina. Breakfast was wonderful, with an abundance of choices offered. My knees were sore after some hikes and the staff was able to provide ice for me. We also were easily able communicate with the staff.

Our room was on the ground floor, with a veranda and a superb view of the yacht mole and Pico. The area is quiet and safe. The room was serviced every day and fresh towels provided. Breakfast was good - fresh fruit and juice, cornflakes, yoghourt, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs and fresh rolls, a griller to toast your cheese and ham roll. There were tea infusions and many ways of making an excellent cup of coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful..

A recently renovated apartment, Casinha das Hortênsias offers accommodations in Horta. Apartment appears to be freshly renovated. Everything is well finished. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy, bathroom is nice. The best place we’ve stayed on our trip so far!

Largo Bispo Boutique Hostel is located in Horta, a 6-minute walk from Praia da Conceição and 1.6 miles from Praia do Almoxarife Beach. No breakfast included but a gorgeous kitchen if you want to prepare your own. Excellent location to walk along the water to Peter's Sport Bar and hang out with the sailors!

Nereida features free WiFi throughout the property and views of sea in Horta. We appreciated the warm welcome and easy check in, with keyless building and room access. The rooms look out over the harbor, and the hotel could not be in a nicer spot. Free parking was plentiful, and there is a lot behind the hotel as well. Nereida is perfect for self catering. You have a kitchenette in the room, plus a fully equipped kitchen in the common room. So you can cook a bigger meal in there if you want. It is also close to several good restaurants and a market. We would recommend it to anyone for sure.

We came to the Azores for our honeymoon and looked for a special place to stay. Alice's place was a great choice and exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the property is located in a beautiful location overlooking Mt. Pico and the view is spectacular. There is a small porch that overlooks the mountain and its a great spot to start the day with a cup of coffe and finish it under the stars with a hot cup of tea. The room was very clean, comfterable and the place had everything we needed (small kitchenette, wifi and laundry (that was amazing)). Moreover, Alice is a very kind and unique person and we are very glad we had the chance to meet her. We are extremely thankful to Alice for making our stay so comfortable and special - thank you for everything! We highly recommend this place :)
