Located on the Isle of Man, in Douglas’s Marina, Waterfront Apartments feature self-catering accommodation with free Wi-Fi available throughout. The apartment was a great size, well-appointed and comfortable. I found the staff extremely helpful when I requested a change to a lighter duvet. It was changed immediately. The office staff were happy to offer suggestions on local activities and places of interest. There is a Tesco supermarket very close by, and an excellent Italian restaurant. Having a lift to the apartments was a welcome bonus.

Overlooking Douglas Bay, the 5-star Englewood Lodge offers individually designed rooms with luxury en suite facilities and sea views. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are also available. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING Where do you begin . The house is magnificent , the decor elegant , food was sensational , price was very reasonable but the real gem here is the host . Margaret goes above and beyond in every aspect of her role as a host , the attention to detail in every aspect from breakfast on thru to the daily linen and cleanliness is second to none . When we return to the Isle we won’t stay anywhere else . In 16 years traveling over 70 countries we have never given a 10 accept now . Congratulations Margaret and THANK YOU you made our stay on the island just what it should be “ PERFECT “

The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.

The breakfast was very good. the technology in the hotel is so over the top. We do not need a toilet seat that lifts up when you enter the bathroom. There were reading lights on both sides of the bed but a switch on only one side which made it difficult for one person to read later than the other but not be able to switch the light off without getting out of bed and walking to the other side and then walking back in the dark.. We could not understand the TV as it was far too complicated

The owner takes very good care of the property, so everything is clean, well maintained, and cared for! I love the bags set out in the kitchen for paper, plastic and glass recycle items. Only a short walk to the beach and 15 minutes to shopping center or sea terminal. A bowl and mat were provided for my dog. Traveling on my own, I felt safe there, because if you have a concern or question, it is addressed within the same day.
