Bohinj has stunning views of the surrounding mountains which are easily accessible via the gondola. The lake itself is crystal clear and great for swimming and water sports. The town is small but with a range of restaurants and a shop. It has all the facilities you need but without the throng of tourists that Lake Bled is constantly surrounded by.

Lake Bled is lovely but Lake Bohinj is perfect if you want a purer experience. The hike around the lake is about 12.5 km. There are lots of outdoor sports available and gorgeous views. You should take a trip to the waterfall Savica; take a 2 hour walk around the lake; the landscape itself is wonderful. You can taste delicious homemade food like different kinds of cottage cheese, and typical Slovene casserole dishes. The best way to get around lake is to go on foot or to rent a bike.

Owner was welcoming and on the spot, apartment was very clean, you have free parking place in front of the house, the kitchen is well equipped, the balcony is great. If you choose Momo apartments you will be settled in the original Slovenian village where you can experience all countryside smells (even cows) and sounds (church bells every 15 minutes). The apartment is 4-5 km from Bohinj lake, 7-8 km from Vogel ski resort and 23 km from Bled lake. It's ideal for travelers with car.

We stayed at 5 people apartment and it was fully equipped, super comfortable and the view was amazing. House is surrounded by an amazing nature,lake bohinj and mountains. We will definitely come back again during summer time. I cannot find any negative thing to mention all 5 of us enjoyed and loved the location. I only can recommend it for a chill and relaxing vacation.
