Posada Nueva España is a great option in Arequipa. Well located near the historic centre but out of the hustle and bustle. It's an old house with traditional courtyards, and equipped and decorated with love and care. The host is a great conversationalist (in an impressive number of languages) and will make you feel very welcome and at home. The neighborhood is also great for a stroll, with nice places to eat and the Plaza de Yanahuara not far away. We had a great experience staying here.

Located in the traditional neighbourhood of Yanahuara in Arequipa, Posada Nueva España offers accommodation in a colonial house from 1810, only a 5-minute walk from the city centre on a traditional and very quiet street. Free WiFi is available in public areas. The brightly decorated rooms of the hotel feature private bathrooms with hot water provided by solar energy, a balcony and a cable TV. Family rooms are also available. Posada Nueva España features a tour desk which can help guests arrange tours in the surroundings, as well as visits to Colca Canyon and activities such as mountain bike and rafting. The lodge is a 12-minute walk from Plaza de Armas, a lookout point for the El Misti, El Chachani and Pichu-Pichu volcanoes.
