The facility was very clean, the receptionist Katie was amazing, very attentive and polite.. She was also our server for breakfast and she did a great job. Beds had better days ,the hotel definitely needs new beds and pillows and the AC needs replacing also. I think that the place has potential it just needs more tlc. The place has a beautiful pool and a beautiful beach. Sunset was stunning.

Good place for a short economical stay. The air conditioner was cold, and the hot water was hot. The front desk staff assisted me in finding an English speaking taxi driver who was able to save me a lot of time through his local knowledge.

My room was fine, the bed comfortable, and looked right out on the sea....the staff were extremely friendly, and there was a very good restaurant close by....it was close to Portobelo, and the buses stop right in front ....thanks for a great stay!

I booked a room at the Andres Hotel, mainly because of a train ride. I was thinking of going for one day from PANAMA CITY to Colon, by train with the Panama Canal Train. Unfortunately, I found out that this train is inactive since the Corona. If the train ride is not yet available, Or if you are not going to visit around Colon, and are not interested in the duty free zone, then you can skip Colon. I was warned by the locals, to be careful If you decide to visit Colon, stay at the ANDRES Hotel

Colon is not a nice city and I cannot recommend it to others...
Colon is not a nice city and I cannot recommend it to others. I felt very threatened there. It is dirty and noise, huge amounts of litter everywhere. Huge numbers of homeless and mentally ill people living on the street. I could not find anything to visit. There are very few restaurants that cater for tourists. I just wanted to leave.

Colon is a great city, the one I was born in. Although a little rundown in some areas, mainly the center, the outskirt of the city has a better appearance. Overall, the people are very warm and appreciate visitors coming into their city .

A beautiful well planned city that is been redeveloped. All new streets new sewage system and other improvements that will make it the best in the country. If I was a real estate developer there is nothing but opportunity here. It looks ruff now but the early bird gets the worm.

City of colon is not really a place for most people.
City of colon is not really a place for most people. It’s is quite literally falling down. The local people are wonderful despite the fact that they live mostly in squalor. Most travelers here are only here for the Free Trade Zone

Thank you Shenell. She was also very knowledgeable of her surroundings which saved me a taxi fare, as I was able to walk and see a bit of Colon.

Ideal for staying over night if leaving on the cruise. Colon is an ugly city, but the neighborhood of the hotel was nice and safe. A lot of shops around and there is a massive construction going on where they are building new shops at the port.
