A clean town which looks like it has no crime. We went to the police station for directions and found 2 officers there at 01h00. There were no people to report crime. The officers were even looking drowsy because they had nothing to do.

Swakopmund is so beautiful, couldn't take my eyes off the buildings. They were so mesmerizing. The streets are well organized and very safe neighborhoods.
My favorite place was the beach ⛱️. We ate at Spur, KFC and Shoprite. The food was delicious 😋
It's very easy to get around Swakopmund and the people there, were very nice.
The only thing I felt needed to be improved especially in the activities we did was tour guiding. I wish they could have explained more on each tour.

A little piece of Germany tucked onto the Namibian shore of the Atlantic Ocean. I felt comfortable walking around the town and down to the beach. It is a quiet place with no nightlife to write home about. People seem to be generally friendly. I wouldn't recommend it if you are party animal.

A trip to the coast especially Swakopmund is always exciting and way too relaxing. A small and Friendly town with residents ready to assist when you need any information. Hansa Hotel has been my favorite lunch place and "old days" memories.

My room overlooked the Ocean, my reason for being is Swakopmund. The beaches and surrounding grass and promenade were spotlesly clean as was the town. Everyone I dealt with was kind and helpful. Taxies were readily available but one had to negotiate the price as there was a great variance in price.

I have come to Swakopmund for many many years now, and it is always a beautiful Town to explore.
You can just relax at the sea side or do many of the offered activities,
The Food in many of the old Restaurants is very good.
we booked the apartment which was in the back of the hotel but we actually really enjoyed the value for what we got. we stayed 1 night here after Etosha and before Sesriem. the apartment is HUGE, very quiet, comfortable and clean, AC and heater (it can get cold here since city is coastal), and the apartment has all of the amenities for cooking if you want. Nearby are restaurants and shops that are very walkable. we should have stayed another night in Swakopmund and would have been happy staying here.
This is the nicest accommodation you can book in Swakopmund, the rooms are in a separate building, but in the same courtyard with the owners, a very nice family with two dogs and five cats. The inn is close to the centre and to the beach, in a very quiet and safe area. I stayed 9 night and worked remotely, the WiFi is great and the rooms look amazing. Loved the attention to details, like having a water boiler for the coffee and glasses for the wine. Highly recommended ❤️
The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the sea. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with everything I could wish for in a hotel of this type. If you're lucky, you'll get a room with a sea view, but the rooms on the side of the building are also very good. It's not the first time I've stayed at this hotel. If the car park is full, the car can be parked in front of the hotel, it is safe there.
Really nice hotel! We had one of the newer rooms and they were fantastic! Comfy bed, huge bathroom, working tv, balcony with sea view. The location was really good, very central. The staff were lovely and helped us book our activities for the next day.
Free, secure parking. We felt very safe.
Would stay here again, definitely recommend!
The apartment was at the excellent location. Quenny was very helpful all through our stay. Quick to respond to all our needs and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay in Swakopmond. Check-in and out was very smooth. We cannot wait to return to Central Self Catering in our next visit to Swakopmond.
Spectacular little hotel with a beautiful location. All the rooms have an ocean view. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is cooked to order with additional fresh fruit and yogurt. We booked this hotel for 2 nights last minute and then chose to stay an extra night. Thank you!
This boutique hotel is new, has an excellent design. All the rooms have sea view, we were on the top, amazing view to the beach and surroundings. The room was huge, bright, very comfortable bed, great shower. Good check-in, excellent breakfast. A small nice pool. Just fantastic, beautiful!
Perfect walkable location in Swakopmund for beach, restaurants, bars, and shopping. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Private driveway for parking. Hosts are a lovely couple who live in separate home in front and were available for any questions we had about the area.
I booked for 3 nights but ended up staying a week as it is such a wonderful place to stay. It is well equipped for self catering, very quiet, wifi is great, it had netflix. It is close to the beach and to the shopping malls. Bibi is lovely and I would definitely come back again!
The breakfast was child friendly seeing that i was travelling with a 5 year old, waffles were served on the menue. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is right opposite the aquarium and a short walk to the jetty and the beach.
The apartment is spacious, has a lovely terrace with views across the beach. It has been furnished well and has all the convenience for a stay in Swakopmund with shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk.
Hotel was on the very edge of town, but being a small town it wasn't far to walk to amenities or shops.
Breakfast was great, but it was the staff who were the biggest asset, they were fabulous.
Everything was wonderful. we had to come a day early and they were able to extend our time in Swakopmund. It is an excellent location for adventures there and in Walvis Bay.
Good breakfast. The guesthouse is very near of the beach, shops and the town. Swakopmund is a small village, a cute paradise in the midle of Namid desert.
