Vaduz did not meet our expectations - perhaps because we didn't do sufficient research, but we expected something more quaint. Also, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon and almost everything was closed. Again, this was based on insufficient research on our part.

There are many interesting things to do in Vaduz and the surrounding areas. However, travelers should be aware the most attractions and shops close on Saturday at 5pm and remained closed until Monday.

Tiny capital in a tiny country - perfect for a short weekend trip to a country most people haven't visited. Rent an e-bike to get around the country! Book a train ticket to Buchs SG in Switzerland and take the bus from there to Vaduz.

Nobody around in the weekend. Nearly everything’s closed.
Nobody around in the weekend. Nearly everything’s closed. Just banks, watches and jewelry shops. You can’t visit the castle. The modern art museum is quite nice though. Locals are friendly—if you manage to see any. The tourist information center is quite helpful, and if you rent an e-bike there you can easily explore places further afield. Otherwise the place is a bit of snooze.
I stayed for 2 days as a solo traveller and was made to feel very welcome. The staff were so friendly and helpful, special mention to Yenny, who took very good care of me. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. I also ate here one evening and the food was very good.
My room was spacious, light and very well appointed, with a lovely view of the castle (shame about the scaffolding surrounding it!)
Easy walking distance of the centre of Vaduz and also directly on several main bus routes.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
The apartment is super nice, clean and complete: a comfortable room, living room with TV, kitchen, dining room, terrace with an amazing view, toilet, shower, Wi-Fi.
It is located near a bus stop and a LIEBike rack, and by a walking distance you could go to Schaan or Vaduz. The Host is super kind, polite, friendly and helpful. She responds super fast, she helped me plan what to do and how to get where I wanted.
My stay could not have been better. It was perfect.
The location is very good, just inside Vaduz on the Triesen side. The 15 minute walk to the center of town ("Stätdle") is pleasant.
The apartment is large, and quite comfortable.
If you come from the United States (I lived there for 20 years), please note the sliding door. I've never seen one like that there, and I believe that you will be impressed too.
I was also impressed by the wood carving on the beams. Really nice !
This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We especially loved the pool and the breakfast! The hotel staff were wonderful and friendly and went above and beyond to help make our stay great, including making a dinner reservation for us in town and helping us find a nice hike nearby. We wish we could have stayed longer!
The apartment is amazing! Perfect place to stay in Vaduz-in the city center, but quiet street. We also appreciated the parking space. The apartment is big, comfortable and well equipped. Window views and 2 terraces were great bonus. Thank you Gina and Alex, hope we’ll come back one day.
very nice and comfortable hotel a short walk from
the city centre. beautiful view of the castle and high quality breakfast included in the room rate. a little bit expensive but I think it’s in line with the high costs of Liechtenstein
Then hotel check in was super easy and the breakfast was good. We highly enjoyed the very central location near the city center of Vaduz. The beds were comfy and the room stayed cool even though there was no AC.
Nice B&B near the center of Vaduz, with free parking. Little balcony with a view of the cathedral and the castle (2nd floor). Breakfast was simple but good.
The hotel is simply lovely. Beautifully sited and close to sights. But silent, in glorious gardens. The restaurant is excellent. The views spectacular.
