The Bell is a very nice looking building in a quiet country village. The landlords and staff are very nice it's very lively in the bar the locals and visitors were very friendly and the food was good.
We were expecting a normal twin room and we were shown a very small room that would be a small single but with two three foot, singles beds crammed in, there was one chair to put your things on and a coat rack. It was very dark and cramped. The entrance way to this room is only a passage, but it had parasols, steps and bakery trays stacked around it.
The quality of the fixture and fittings in the room was of a high quality it's just use of space that is the problem and the stuff stacked outside of the door.
The breakfast would have to be eaten on a tray perched, with one person on the chair and one person on a bed.
I'm not sure where your luggage would go.
We were moved to a much nicer room.

We were looking for a stopover from Leicester to Cornwall.
We were looking for a stopover from Leicester to Cornwall. We’d normally use a premier inn but then found this gem!
Authentic, personable, great food (home made pizza) & a view of a field to wake up to!
Perfect. We’ll definitely be back & recommend widely to family & friends.
We were so looking forward to sitting on the terrace, alas good ‘ol British weather let us down. However, we enjoyed the location and local ‘wildlife’ including visits by Ginge the cat. Walks into Broadway were a delight and it was well located for various sightseeing expeditions.
very friendly staff, Steve was able to get us in for dinner at short notice after we had booked just 30 minutes before.
excellent food and service and beers
location in broadway also very pretty to walk about on a cold winter day
